Oh, this is going to be the easiest one yet. There are only a handful of games I'd nominate for this.

There were only two games I had to force myself to cut. Fairly low number, all things considered.

EDIT: Replaced a well-loved game with an underrated gem. I figure this phase is the ideal place to raise awareness.

I get the feeling that this final list isn't going to be all that varied, but hopefully my nominations will shake things up a bit...

Would nominate Mario 64, but I played the DS version and that had an extra 30 stars added to it and a significant change up in structure that I think that counts as it's own game rather than the version that came out on the N64, so with that in mind here are my nominations. I haven't really played many N64 games though so I don't think I will be able to fulfill the 5 game criteria but I will try

It's almost impossible for me to narrow down my nominations to just 5 games for N64 as there's just too many games that I love for the greatest console ever made

I'm having a bit of a struggle between my head and my heart due to certain games I feel maybe hold up better or I discovered after the N64 era versus the nostalgia of games I have nothing but fond memories of.. but here we go!
