    • Ridge Racer 64 races onto the N64 line-up – today!
    • I believe it was random. I know I would have a few days or even a week where it kept my save file and I would play regularly and then it would randomly disappear. The first time it happened, I assumed it was a one off glitch and would go through story mode all over again and hope the save file would remain only for it to delete again a day or so later. I read that only the PAL versions removed the blood too, which I wish I had known at the time as I had an American N64 but I was playing the PAL version of the game via a converter.
    • Yep, a re-tooled version of Rare Replay would do very nicely on the Switch 2, it could even launch with the console... depending on when it launches, it would be very close to the ten year anniversary of Rare Replay, as it originally launched as an Xbox One exclusive title on 4th August, 2015.
    • It would be sad if Microsoft leaves the console market. Would likely mean I'll stick to being a console behind simply because of costs, Sony certainly aren't interested in making anything affordable, and the Switch 2 is sounding expensive.
    • And real ports of everything on Rare Replay (well, emulation for pre-64 stuff is fine). I think good remasters of everything N64 onwards would perform well on Switch/Switch 2.
