    • Amazing result, especially when you consider it's rated 15/R meaning it can't pull in younger audience numbers.
    • More gameplay has surfaced from the event over at China at the moment.   This just looks like pure platforming bliss.
    • Today, I decided to fire up the Octo Expansion and see what all the fuss is about. I'm currently 45 out 80 levels into it. I've unlocked the final stage already but me being me, I want to get through all 80 stages. It's been a fun time so far. I can see what people mean when they say that it lays down the groundwork for the campaign of Splatoon 3. Some levels do go on a little longer than necessary but I still enjoy them. Out of all the stages, the ones that are my worst are probably the 8-Ball ones. Guiding the ball around can be a little tricky, especially when enemies are firing at the thing as well. I'm not sure how many stages I've done like this but I've read that they are 10 in total. I've also done a couple of boss fights. I was a little disappointed that they are just remixes of the ones from the campaign but I did like how they offered more of a challenge.
    • I sat and played all of the DLC over the past couple of days. It was fine but nothing special. Two levels are from the Atlantis area of the main game and two are from the Egypt levels. None of them really flowed like the main game and instead just seemed like a mish mash of ideas just cobbled together to make some new stages. After doing all of this, I've now spent close to 60 hours on the game. Methinks Tomb Raider 2 will not be getting played until next year. I definitely need a break. It's funny, this year marks the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation. I've inadvertently done my own celebration by playing this, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Metal Gear Solid (from the latest collection) and Tekken 8, all completed this year. All of these are games and franchises that made the PlayStation what it is today. I just need to play a Crash Bandicoot game and it will be perfect.
    • Maybe they're drawn the attention of the fidget spinner/stimulation people. I was too cool for that bullshit, but even I'd love an analogue stick to fap about with.
