      I figured they would at least mention the Switch 2 today so glad they didn't disappoint on that front. Probably the same sort of cycle as the original Switch, reveal in the Autumn and release in Spring. Very interested to see what games they announce in the June direct, could Prime 4 finally make an appearance? Good to see Princess Peach: Showtime shift over a million copies. Shame we didn't get numbers for Another Code but it was to be expected really.  Interesting that if they hit their sales target for the next fiscal year they would surpass the DS and be getting very close to PS2's total

      Wonder if the people who got refunded are just going to buy the game again... They must have known that adding the PSN requirement would then restrict what countries it would be available in though.

      Bring on the Nintendo Cinematic Universe 😜  Seriously though this is great news. We all hoped it would be a good fan service film and it certainly was received well by most.

      The issue here is that they couldn't implement it in time for launch due to server difficulties from the unexpected popularity of the game. Sea of Thieves requires a Microsoft account too on PS5 and there's other games out there that need similar accounts not related to the platform you're playing on. It probably didn't even occur to them that there'd be a backlash by reinstating it later - and I'll bet they're kicking themselves that they didn't have this ready at launch since now they can't implement it. The whole story is a storm in a teacup though, to the point of people saying they'd quit playing a game they're enjoying. There was a pretty good article on Kotaku documenting the sensationalism.

      This is not an announcement, more like an acknowledgement that it exists. They probably don't want people to have unreasonable expectations for the June Direct.
