Beast Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) In the end, I took @Jimbob's advice and got Scarface (Triple Play) for £8 from Blockbusters (): I wanted it on blu-ray but I've heard mixed reviews so on Jimbob's word, I took it and I'm glad I did! The picture and the sound on it is truly awesome, especially considering it was made in 1983. It also has this amusing little counter where it counts how many bullets are fired and how many times Montana says the F word. Brilliant! Basically, I have Scarface twice on DVD now, altogether making it four copies of the movie, haha. Never going to use the Digital Copy though, wouldn't know where to start with it, really. I suppose it's cool to have another DVD of it in case anything happens but most likely I'd just buy another copy of the blu-ray version since it's literally 100x better. EEVILMURRAY Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 It's weird as the other books pretty much emulate the game almost perfectly. But the ending of Revelations (...) where Ezio dies is a fine addition.
Cube Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) I was planning on getting the new SimCity, but from the price, DRM that requires an constant online connection, no manual saves (no messing around and reloading), small cities and the requirement of Origin...no. So I got the rival one instead. Edit: Also, I'm aware that this one got average reviews, but that's mainly due to how it's not a significant over the previous one, so it doesn't apply to me. They say it's more like an "expansion". Interestingly, people with the previous game can buy the new one (cheaper) as an expansion. Edited January 18, 2013 by Cube

Debug Mode Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Well that's it, I'm moving to Japan. I'm trying to think of the cons of living here, but the pro that is nomihoudai and its cheap alcohol is just too much.
dwarf Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Not bought as such - was a Christmas present. Playing Temple Run on it was an utter revelation. Should also add that it is my Kindle (new), not Emma's. The picture is slightly misleading.

Sheikah Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 (edited) Seriously? All of that for ~£500? Mind if I join you? Sure :p It's still up on voyage-prive.co.uk for another couple of days. Went to Venice last year, amazing place. When are you going though? Damn hot and busy at the height of Summer. We're going around May so the temperatures should be around 20ish. We don't like the heat so it should be nice. Edited January 27, 2013 by Sheikah Automerged Doublepost
