    • WCW/nWo Revenge
NA release: 26th October 1998 PAL release: 30th November 1998 JP release: N/A Developer: Asmik Ace, AKI Publisher: THQ N64 Magazine Score: 75% There isn’t a lot to say about this wrestling game, it’s WCW/nWo World Tour again, this time sped up a little bit. After WWF War Zone, the graphics of Revenge now look extremely dated, and the create-a-wrestler options are severely limited, consisting of picking an existing wrestler, renaming them and changing their outfit. If you like the wrestlers of this game (and there are a lot), then it does a good job, but not much has been done to change the game since World Tour. Remake or remaster? This game doesn’t need any special treatment. Official ways to get the game. There is no official way to get WCW/nWo Revenge
    • Anyone else seen this game making the rounds lately? It's gotten quite a few great reviews, and after playing through 3 chapters, I can see why. Utterly intriguing, and I can't wait to delve deeper. It's a narrative-driven game, with some light puzzle solving elements. Kinda? I'm not entirely sure, it's strange, and trippy, and has people who previously worked in Theatre and Performance Art working on it, aiming to tell a story that only the medium of games can tell. Runs great on Switch too! 60 FPS with only slight dips from time to time. I know I posted the trailer above, but if this remotely interests you, I'd recommend trying to go in blind. It's £16.75, but it's 10% off at the moment.
    • Went back to my Ally today for some newer games after spending this week retro gaming, I think the display might just be too small for text in games these days. Trying to play games like Undermine or Dave the Diver is tough. When the next round of devices come out probably next year I might have to look for something with a bit of a bigger screen like the Lenovo Legion Go does now.
    • Here's a blast from the past for any long-time Cube-Europe forumites still knocking around. I found some old footage of Game Stars Live from 2004 on a cover disc and uploaded the video to YouTube. One of my old C-E friends CubeChris got in touch to say he's in the video (and the thumbnail!). Thought there might be a couple more of you oldies featured, so if you went along to the event and checked out the Nintendo booths have a watch and see if your younger self is in it too. Any newer Nintendo fans curious about mid-noughties fashion are also welcome to check it out of course
    • After finishing X-Men 97, I had a trip up the attic and sorted through the archives to pull out these related storylines. That's my weekend sorted. Although I'm gonna have to look up what the reading order is for OZT. I also took a pic of this one just for you, Happenstance.
