Jimbob
My haul this year That is also including the dressing gown in the picture at the top. Also got £80 from the parents. But that isn't what mattered most to me today. What mattered was seeing their faces opening their presents this year. All got vouchers and a present they were after as well. They liked them all. chairdriver
From Santa - Selection box of Nestle chocolates - Coca Cola lip balm - Sylvia Plath Collected Poems (a joke thing. Second hand too, adding 2 the mystique) - A Rebel Without A Cause DVD (feels so appropriate / I never expressed the fact I wanted to see it) - FCUK socks. In a stunning box. Yes. - Calvin Klein briefs - Calvin Klein pyjamas - Thermal long sleeved shirt thing - People Who Changed The World (book) (I'm kinda over it already. Feels like a book you'd find in Bookworld / Bargain Books. I read the article on Malcolm X and I'm already like "...") - Chemical Hand Warmers (I famously have bad circulation, so sew useful). - iPhone cover From under the tree - Thermal socks - Superman mug - Born This Way (CD) (Yes. Had it digitally, but never physically. It's such a one to put on your CD player.) - Destiny's Child Number #1's. (Yes. Stand Up For Love.) - A snood - Rihanna t-shirt (mmmyes) - £10 WHSmith voucher - A PS3 w/ Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3. Uncharted 3 is the most stunning thing I've done with my life. The bit where you have to flee the museum -- too much. Genuinely exhilarating. I felt like Spider-man, but on his 5th click. Abnormally Attracted to Nate when he was young too. Going to buy Final Fantasy XIII tomorrow, and probably Arkham Asylum and Valkyria Chronicles. In the mood 4 love. Ganepark32
I got Jack Kerouac's book 'The Sea Is My Brother' Oh... I forgot this was out. Eenuh
I always wonder who people get presents from/for. Like do you only get from parents or do you get from more people? And do you give them something in return? Is there a set budget or not etc? In our family there's my parents and me and my two sisters, and we all buy for each other. Except we pick names, and the one you pick is your main person so you buy them a bigger thing. Basically our budgets are 10 and 25 euro. So you know you'll end up receiving/buying at least four gifts heh (though the parents always seem to spend a bit more it seems). Don't really get anything from extended family at Christmas, though we sometimes get a voucher from grandpa in January heh. Oh and Jim and I buy each other stuff. We never manage to stick to our budget either it seems. =P

EddieColeslaw
Surprisingly good haul, as I didn't ask for and wasn't expecting anything: - Battery-operated lantern with OWLS on it! Also a crafty watercolour-splotched lil' notebook. - Babyliss Root Boost: I guess my family are more observant than I thought - I used to stare at this wistfully every time I walked past it in Boots - Classy-ass thin laptop bag that looks like a handbag. Saving it for when I start work! - 1 pair of really warm slipper socks, navy. - An awesome pink minature dustbin that clangs when I put the lid down! - Anna Sui Night of Fancy perfume, which I gave to my mum because she loves Anna Sui. - A pin art block from @heroicjanitor, which I have some ideas for shooting some kind of animation/film short with! So far I have stuck my hand, foot, elbow, and Christmas ornaments into it. - My favourite card was the one with BATMAN on it, from my siblings. Other: I ate a dried chilli during dinner as a dare, and my throat died a temporary fiery death.

Paj!
Yes! Here's mine. I live my life so vicariously through Rihanna these days. Let's wear them at the same time somewhere, trying to evoke the TTT/Loud era's in our mode of dress. You need sunglasses and a hat - I, my old red hair. nightwolf
Ine, my mum tends to get me and my sister our main present (which is usually just based on something we've asked for, rather than price.) and then we get loads of little gifts, basically stocking fillers, so we look like we get a lot, but it's socks etc, which we really appreciate (and whinge if we don't get fluffy socks :P it's a running joke in our family.) Extended don't tend to get us much, after you hit 18 you get less gifts as you're getting a bit too old, I think I got the £50 because my uncle and dad didn't really talk as we were growing up and then hadn't really gotten me anything until yesterday, so it was really sweet. I guess it depends, but I get way less than I did when I was a kid, but appreciate it so much more when I do get gifts now.

Cube
Is that meant to be a watch? It's one of those Tokyo Flash ones. And by far the easiest of them to tell the time on. Most of theirs look fantastic but you have to work out the time. On the one I've ordered, the minutes point in the direction of the hour.
Zell
Didn't get anything too exciting this year, but then again I didn't ask for much and I'm getting a bit old to care about presents anyway. Best presents were probably brand new slippers and dressing gown. I did buy my mum a Kindle, which she was very pleased with so I'm happy.
Fierce_LiNk
We don't do Christmas presents at our house. So, I'll be getting/giving mine with Ine when she gets here, and will probably do my housemates gifts at the same time. My housemate is also celebrating her birthday this week, so I've got her Hotel Dusk (she only really plans games with a "story" and she seems to prefer games with good character interaction/dialogue, so this seemed like the right way to go), season one part one of Thundercats and UP on Blu-ray. My Mum celebrated her birthday last week, but I missed it as I was away. She's (surprisingly) mad about action films, particularly anything with Clint Eastwood. I bought her the Dirty Harry Collection. She's been given that, seemed pretty chuffed with it.
