    • According to NateDrake, the long-rumoured Oblivion remake (by Virtuos), Flight Simulator, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection will all be coming to Switch 2 (and PS5) in 2025.  Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth will also apparently be coming to Switch 2, though it's not clear if the timeframe will be the same as the planned Xbox releases in 2025 and 2026, respectively – I would assume so, it's just not very clear from the audio.  Reckons it might be too late to see Forza Horizon 5 land on Switch 2 (and PS5) just given how long the licensing agreements last for in those games, and so Xbox might just wait until 6 before bringing the series to more platforms.
    • Feel like this belongs in three threads simultaneously, but alas, it's Xbox news first and foremost I guess because of how it relates to their shift in strategy: NateDrake has heard that the rumoured Oblivion remake will be multiplatform (which I think was predictable), but also that Flight Simulator and Halo: The Master Chief Collection will come to both PS5 and Switch 2 in 2025.  He goes on to say that he expects Final Fantasy Remake and Rebirth to land on Xbox in 2025 and 2026, respectively. Some good news for Xbox fans, then, but they're not alone, as they'll also apparently be coming to Switch 2 (I'm assuming the timeframe might be similar?).  He also hasn't heard anything but reckons Forza Horizon 5 might be off the table for a while given how long licensing lasts for those games, so Xbox might just choose to wait until they release Forza Horizon 6 before making the series multiplatform.
    • I guess if they just randomly release an announcement video with no pomp it will probably end up in here and I may spin it out, but I'm going to assume they will announce they will announce something and that will end up as it's own thread.
    • Yes, absolutely. Agree wholeheartedly.
