It's really good. I'm up to Episode 5 now. Lots of insights to the shooting process. I also enjoy hearing actors/actresses talking about their journey with the show. I'm excited for the second season to start on Friday. My friend and I have reached episode 7 a few days ago (i.e. the episode where it reeeaaaallyyy gets going). I cannot wait to see her reaction to everything that will unfold from now on. -
I cannot get spoilers working at all. The button in the post editor does nothing - no pop-up or anything, and the code I tried doesn't seem to work. Can someone who cares about the sanctity of the story in Pokemon Arceus do something? -
Another slightly cheaty one, since i also played through 90% of it last year, but I had an evening all to myself and decided I would try and polish off the remainder of the main story of... Pokemon: Arceus I say story, if you can really call it that. It's just some stuff that happens in a sort of sequential order. Some waffle gets spoken. You collect some stuff. Everyone goes home. Either they ran out of time towards the end, or just ran out of interest, but the plot does seem to get worse as it goes along. Half of all dialogue just seems to be people pointing at the rift in the sky and saying how weird it is, and is it true that you also fell from the rift in the sky? Wow that's so weird. Maybe they are connected? I can't quite believe how lazy the game is with character animations. This is a game that came out in 2022, and for anything more complicated that a 'walk forward and hold out hand', they game fades to black and does a sound effect. It's astonishing that this game comes from one of the most successful game studios in the world. Comparing it to the other game I just played, Uncharted 4, which came out 6 years earlier, it's like comparing Monet to the shit my toddler brings home from nursery (sorry bob jr). I have no idea what was going on at the end of the game either. [spoiler="End game spoilers"]They spend the entire game going on about the almighty Sinnoh, who I assumed was a Pokemon? Given that the game is called Arceus, I assumed that Sinnoh was just Arceus, and he would show up and be the one that was causing the rift in time and space. Either way, i thought that Arceus would show up at the end. And then a giant spooky pokemon shows up, and he's called Palkia? Who the fuck is that? But wait! There is another Pokemon who is actually causing the rift! (This will be Arceus, i'm sure of it). Nope! It's a totally different one called Disgea or something? Ok, fine. I'm supposed to fight this Disgea using the God pokemon Palkia which i somehow just caught in a Pokeball. I assume i'll have to fight him in a battle. There's a merchant at the base of the temple selling potions and revives, so I stock up. Make sure all my Pokemon are fit and levelled up and ready to go. Swap in Palkia because i need him in my party. Makes sense. Ready for the battle. Nope! Time to roll around and lob 'time balms' at him instead. Where the fuck did the time balms come from? There just happened to be a bag of time balms next to where Disgea popped out of the rift? Pretty lucky!A few time balms, and Disgea gets caught in the extra super special Origin Ball (why did Disgea need a super special Origin ball made with several super easy to retrieve fetch quest items, whereas Palkia goes right into an Ultra ball?)[/spoiler] It's a pity, because there is the base of quite a good game there. I remember i quite enjoyed my time with the game right at the beginning. Going around catching Pokemon, and the research element of discovering Pokemon behaviour was a really good idea, but the rest of the game is just awful and stuck in the past. Anyway, 1/10 done!

Nothing for me on this list at all, which is no surprise when it comes to 3rd party games on Nintendo consoles. Lots for Nintendo only owners though. It would be crazy if Elden Ring didn't get a port. I can see that doing silly numbers.
