Didn't you trade a banana for it or something like that? So it looks like they worked based on the 3DS version as people suspected. -
Yeah it was obvious from the reveal that this would be a quick and cheap port, so no surprise the final version isn't up to snuff. I don't really see the point of this approach tbh. There's no way I'd pay 60 hard-earned bones for this. -
Yeah it should be more similar in price to what I paid for the original; about 60p. -
Thanks for sharing H-o-T, but man, this freaking sucks. I remember DF pointing out the alpha texture border showing in that reveal trailer and that seemed like a massive red flag at the time. Ah well, I've got three other DKC games to play before I "Returns" to this one anyway -- hopefully they fix it by then. Why can't we just get a great version of this game out already?! Also, the price doesn't really bother me, but it's still mental that Prime Remastered was like £35 at launch and this is selling for more. The nerve of how some games are priced baffles me to no end. -
I mean, if it were to be 1:1 with the Switch/NX reveal, we'd still be waiting just under another 3 hours (the "tune in for the reveal of the NX" tweet was posted at 01:30 GMT the day of). That being said, they could totally just shadow-drop it. Goodness knows. They might even choose a time that isn't the middle of the night to announce. Oh hey, here's Mr Miyamoto eating all our empty Switch 2 hopes and dreams for lunch:
