The fish Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Girls are highly competitive, but not in the same areas as boys. [/general rule of life] Take social status/physical appearance as a generalised example. You forgot "who wins the argument" - all girls I know insist they win every argument they have, even when ridiculously out of their depth.
Jav_NE Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I just say that I've forgotten my kit every time I can't be bothered going. That didn't work at our school. They had back-up kits. And they were manky. It was better just to bring your own kit and get on with it rather than wear those un-washed filthy clothes. Besides which, making you shower after every lesson was stupid. Unless you got into a sweat there was no need, and after games like softball you barely do sweat. It should've been optional in my opinion. I liked P.E though for the most part. Football, non-stop-cricket, softball and basketball were great fun. I hated the rest though, especially cross-country running. What a waste of time. I can run in my own time thanks, i dont need a teacher to tell me to run for half-an-hour. Bastards. Girls at our school were pretty competitive. They were bad-ass at hockey and netball. We had mixed-P.E on occasion where we played against the girls, usually at hockey, and they kicked our asses every time.
Paj! Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 My school seems thankfully lax about P.E in general, strange considering it's a relatively small school (compared to other private ones in Edinburgh), with a big focus on Rugby etc. Showers after anything haven't been enforced since...P5? Definitely junior school. There was a big fiasco, as one of the class teachers who doubled as a junior rugby teacher for the young-uns (and who had to turn on the showers for a waiting queue of naked children, and then guard it...) turned out to have lots of child porn on his computer (in the school boarding house, no less!). I think the school were a bit less strict about showers in general, after that.
ReZourceman Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 We were forced to have showers, with teachers even coming into the changing rooms to ensure we did. Serious. I look back on it with mentality.
Dan_Dare Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Serious. I look back on it with mentality.
Dante Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 That didn't work at our school. They had back-up kits. And they were manky. It was better just to bring your own kit and get on with it rather than wear those un-washed filthy clothes. Same here and sometimes in your boxers.

I look back on it with mentality. I've never had a shower at school, and I dont think anyone ever did, even when they installed shower cubicles. Good times indeed.
MoogleViper Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I've never had a shower at school, and I dont think anyone ever did, even when they installed shower cubicles. Good times indeed. Nah I never had a shower at school either and don't know anybody that did.

Ellmeister Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 We did after swimming. As much as I loved the smell of chlorine though.
Gizmo Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 The changing rooms in our school have showers, but nobody ever uses them. Well actually thats a lie - but it's peoples bags or shoes that get put under them when they are used.
Mr_Odwin Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 We seem to be somewhat straying from the thread topic. Even though this little meander started as on-topic, I no longer think it is. Sexuality.
killthenet Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 We had to do swimming in P.E. once when it was very cold and my head started hurting a lot so I got to go in and shower alone while everyone else finished up the lesson. I was always afraid that my penis was too small.
Pookiablo Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Fuck PE, it can go to hell. Also, cocks. What a wonderful bit of input there Roadkill, lol.
Retro_Link Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Lets see... Arm pit, Sand pit, Mosh pit........ huh no! guess it's next on my list!
nightwolf Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 How do you fuck a mosh pit..? Surely that's gotta hurt your cock?
EchoDesiato Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 The sand pit doesn't sound too appealing either.
MoogleViper Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 But the armpit and knee pit are just fine are they?
chairdriver Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Getting sand in any of my orifices is my biggest fear.
Chris the great Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 How do you fuck a mosh pit..? Surely that's gotta hurt your cock? its all about tactics. you can bum rape without it being obvious. creaming and thrashin all seem very normal in a mosh pit.
Slaggis Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I hate that feeling you get, when you want to do something really badly, but you know if you do you'll regret it completely. I would start talking about Psychology and the id/Super id etc...but I won't bore you. I seem to have no self control at all, and booze just amplifies this beyond belief. Though, having friends that instead of going "Oh no, don't do that" go "OMG DOO IT HAHA" doesn't help. :p /random post with not much sense.
Chris the great Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I would start talking about Psychology and the id/Super id etc...but I won't bore you. it woulden't bore me, but it would certainly start me arguing against the psychodynamic (freudian) approach to psychology.
