  1. Is Ricky Gervais a 'mong'?

Yes, she does look like a mong, because she is a sufferer of mongolism (Down's Syndrome). It's a pretty inappropriate comment, no matter how you look at it
  2. Is Ricky Gervais a 'mong'?

None other. It's actually quite offensive in that context.. Mong is short for mongoloid, or mongolism, which is literally an older/alternative term for Down's Syndrome, also known as Trisomy 21. It's the meaning of the term, and the origin of the term. The fact people don't know this doesn't mean Ricky Gervais doesn't. He might seem stupid, but he almost certainly knows that. I don't find him amusing in the slightest, but that has nothing to do with this. It has to do with the fact he isn't funny.
  3. HP Touchpad

No no, the TouchPad does not have USB Host support. You can't directly upload stuff to it like this. You need to transfer it from a computer.
  4. Avira, Avast or AVG

Microsoft Security Essentials. You install it and forget about it. All updates even come through normal Windows Update so there's no extra updating or bullshit you have to ever think about.
  5. Renting Properties

You've done the wise thing by not falling into the house share trap. FUCK shared rooms in a house. Even if you're there with only friends, it's just an awful idea unless by serendipity you're all amazingly well adjusted and respect each other.. and have jobs..
  6. RAM

Here's a nice article about Sandy Bridge and choosing DDR3 to go with it: http://www.anandtech.com/show/4503/sandy-bridge-memory-scaling-choosing-the-best-ddr3/1 Their conclusion is that DDR3-1600 is probably enough, and faster RAM doesn't yield a decent performance increase in real world applications.
  7. Mini desktop to be used as media center?

If you like the Mac Mini, but you don't like the idea of burning money for the sake of it, and you actually want an optical media drive (even blu-ray, which Apple won't ever give you): http://www.dell.com/uk/p/inspiron-zino-hd-410/fs
  8. Low Orbit Ion Cannon When harpoons, air strikes and nukes fail..
  9. Veganism

You really think the only source of protein is animal products? Oh dear
  10. Veganism

Huh. I've been vegan for almost 10 years, I guess about 10 in November or something like that. I don't tend to talk about it though, because people sometimes give you shit, as if they're offended you don't eat the same things they do, so there are people I've known for a long time who don't realise it. I don't have any friends who are vegan.
  11. N-Europe London Meet - 16th July 2011

It's cheap. Texts are regulated by the EU to be something like 12p a text. It's more expensive for me to text from the UK to Denmark than it is for me to text someone in Denmark, when I'm in Denmark, using a UK phone...
  12. What does beer mean to you?

Just to say, thank you, Belgium. You are the best beer nation. :3 Kriek is pretty good, but believe me, there are a lot more like that from Belgium. Infact, I love wheat beer... ahhh.. and all those different trappist beers that are so strong... mmmm <3
  13. I don't know, years. January 2002 or something stupid
  14. New York bans smoking outdoors.

Hear that, people with respiratory issues? THE INTERNET TELLS YOU TO MAN THE FUCK UP
  15. New York bans smoking outdoors.

Hitler was a great man, and to be compared to him would surely be an honour
