Fierce_LiNk Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I'm pissed off with trains. So bluddy expensive. So, I've rebelled. I've gone National Express, baby. Newport to London Victoria...£20 something quid. Aaaaahhahahaahhahahahahahahahaha. I am happy, internet.
or else you will DIE Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 i was on national express a few weeks back. i was pleased with it.
Mr_Odwin Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Christmas present for my wife! A handheld sewing machine! Not sure if she's gonna be all "awesome" or "please tell me you kept the receipt." £20 with p&p.
Raining_again Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Agreed with wolfy. Thats super awesome. And i don't even sew!!
ReZourceman Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 ITS HERE! ITS HERE! ITS HERE! Any good...?
Goafer Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Any good...? Haven't played the game yet. The goggles are both awesome and a bit awkward. They work really well at lighting stuff up, but it's like having tunnel vision. There isn't much of a viewing angle. A lot of people complaing about having LEDs on the front. There's 2 sets, one set for "stealth mode" and one for normal. The normal ones light up (quite faintly) to make it easier to see stuff and the stealth ones can't be seen by the naked eye. Both modes work really well at lighting stuff up. They are a bit plasticy, but for the price I can't really complain. All in all, money well spent IMO. Especially since I can now film my own Paris Hilton style porn. I used to have to put the green eye from a pair of 3D glasses over the lens.
Jimbob Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Bought a bunch of Christmas Prezzies for my Mum, Uncle and Nan. Also bought myself a new T-Shirt, which is nice.

EEVILMURRAY Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Was having another random stroll through Toys R Us with my girlfriend and saw these: Bought one of the purple ones for the missus. £4.99. You can't stop squeezing the fucking things. I also noticed that MB have dropped the second Hungry off Hungry Hungry Hippos. Wasn't best pleased.
MoogleViper Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 I also noticed that MB have dropped the second Hungry off Hungry Hungry Hippos. Wasn't best pleased. That's not true. They actually dropped the first Hungry.
EEVILMURRAY Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 That's not true. They actually dropped the first Hungry. Shit. I had to double check but you're right. I'm now planning on buying a Were Bear.
Coolness Bears Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Was having another random stroll through Toys R Us with my girlfriend and saw these: Bought one of the purple ones for the missus. £4.99. You can't stop squeezing the fucking things. I thought those colourful ball things were banned for harming people or something? I was that just my school. Anyway I bought: As a gift to my friend! (Note: not a christmas present) Also my friend and I went out with no money and so we had to make up a tenner to pay with my card so I got a Lolipop, a packet of Monster Munch, A can of Cherry Coke and Nuts magazine... ...I mistakenly told someone they were for a pleasurable night in.
EEVILMURRAY Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 I thought those colourful ball things were banned for harming people or something? Fuck knows. Might've been the smaller models.
Cube Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 I thought those colourful ball things were banned for harming people or something? They were banned because they breed so quickly. They may be cute and cuddly but they're actually sex mad. Before long you'll have hundreds around the house.
drahkon Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 25€ - The Colossal Book Of Mathematics 20€ - Mirror's Edge I still need to buy christmas presents...I hate.
Fierce_LiNk Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 I'm pissed off with trains. So bluddy expensive. So, I've rebelled. I've gone National Express, baby. Newport to London Victoria...£20 something quid. Aaaaahhahahaahhahahahahahahahaha. I am happy, internet. I've quoted this because I have yet more National Expressings to speak of. Newport to London again, this time for my journey to meet the Ine. A little more expensive, 38 quid this, time. But still...2 journeys from Newport to London for less than 70 quid. That's pretty good going. I've planned my first ticket (the cheaper one) to take me to London. I now need to sort out my journey from London Victoria to Brighton (return) to see my friends there. And then London again to Erith, to see one friend there. I'll have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at home, before seeing Ine on Boxing Day (what this ticket was for). I was worried that I'd be spending a huuuuuuuge amount of money on train tickets, but the National Express has saved me quite a bit so far.
