It's one of the reasons why I'm considering going all in on digital with Switch 2. My Switch library is already probably about 75% digital, other than almost all of the first party software, but with expanding file sizes I just think the cartridges themselves are going to become little more than a key to insert to play something that's almost completely downloaded anyway, certainly when it comes to third parties 😕 -
Wow I used to be frustrated at the length of time between many US and UK releases in the N64 days.  @Cube you’re making me grateful that there were so many garbage games that never even came to Europe!  Thanks! -
I agree.  It’s one of my bugbears with most modern games, and then even worse when there’s been time to fix things but the issue still remains. It leads to a wider issue as I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s played a game at launch with clear and massive bugs, that don’t get fixed until post-launch.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate and TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection are the Essentials games for March. Wild to see Veilguard already hitting the service, end of October release to PS+ Essential in March...got to be one of the fastest turnarounds on a third-party AAA release getting onto the service, surely? Can't tell if that's because PS paid the big bucks or if it's a case of the sales numbers dropping and EA wanting to cash in, or maybe it's a weird counter to Avowed on Xbox?Â
