      Didn't you trade a banana for it or something like that? So it looks like they worked based on the 3DS version as people suspected.

      Yeah it was obvious from the reveal that this would be a quick and cheap port, so no surprise the final version isn't up to snuff.  I don't really see the point of this approach tbh. There's no way I'd pay 60 hard-earned bones for this.

      Thanks for sharing H-o-T, but man, this freaking sucks. I remember DF pointing out the alpha texture border showing in that reveal trailer and that seemed like a massive red flag at the time.  Ah well, I've got three other DKC games to play before I "Returns" to this one anyway -- hopefully they fix it by then. Why can't we just get a great version of this game out already?!  Also, the price doesn't really bother me, but it's still mental that Prime Remastered was like £35 at launch and this is selling for more. The nerve of how some games are priced baffles me to no end.

      I mean, if it were to be 1:1 with the Switch/NX reveal, we'd still be waiting just under another 3 hours (the "tune in for the reveal of the NX" tweet was posted at 01:30 GMT the day of).  That being said, they could totally just shadow-drop it. Goodness knows. They might even choose a time that isn't the middle of the night to announce.  Oh hey, here's Mr Miyamoto eating all our empty Switch 2 hopes and dreams for lunch:
