flameboy Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 8GB model...bought it on one of those pay weekly deals sure you pay more but its not that bad considering it spread over 20 weeks and means I've got it ready for my next visit to canada so this hasn't arrived yet because Littlewoods are dumb asses for some reason my order was despatched reached Leeds ready for despatch to me then got sent back to them. They couldn't explain to me what has happened. So I've got to wait for that return to be processed and then reorder it.
EEVILMURRAY Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 You won't regret buying this title, it is indeed a great game. Gets better as you play through it. The controls are quite easy to understand i thought. It's not the controls, it's the piss-poor camera/lock on what's bothering me.
ShavenWolf Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I've not exactly bought this per sé, but my joiner friend made me a table for my GT steering wheel! It also means my mum can have her ironing board back now. Now I'm definitely all set for Gran Turismo 5... £The price of a Morrison's breakfast tomorrow.
Emerald Emblem Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Both are imports, however Gunslinger girl Blu Ray is region A and B. Oh and I got this one recently.
MATtheHAT Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Bought the same steering wheel as ShavenWolf: Pick it up on Wednesday with the game.
James Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 A woolly hat and a t-shirt And some smart trousers from river island, the old ones were getting a bit tight and it looked like i was doing a spot of budgie smugglin'
ShavenWolf Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 How much are they and where from? Mine was £80 from Argos.
sumo73 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Super Mario Land for the Game boy. I've never played it before. When everyone else talks about the golden days of Nintendo and how they have been with them since the NES in the early days I was playing my on my Speccy and Amiga.
Goafer Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 (edited) Will be getting the same wheels as those above next payday. Edited November 21, 2010 by Goafer
EEVILMURRAY Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 As mentioned by Dan of Dare: 6 month subscription to Empire £20: Comes with free: Sold.
ipaul Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Finally got around to ordering this, one of the few special editions I've ever wanted to get. Got it for the fairly low price of £20, with free next day delivery thrown in. Pretty dam pleased if I say so myself
jayseven Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Damn your temptation, Empire Magazine Offer! Sorely tempted by this. Took some will-power to decline it. Will probably go back and get it later.
Jimbob Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 It's not the controls, it's the piss-poor camera/lock on what's bothering me. Yeah, it's not the best camera in the world to be fair. It got on my keester as well. Damn your temptation, Empire Magazine Offer! Sorely tempted by this. Took some will-power to decline it. Will probably go back and get it later. I'm tempted to go for it, but i'm not a movie buff, so i don't see a logic of getting a magazine i won't read. But £20 for a brand-new game, well that is surely tempting in it's own right.
EEVILMURRAY Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Damn your temptation, Empire Magazine Offer! Sorely tempted by this. Took some will-power to decline it. Search your feelings, Jay, you can't do this. I feel the conflict within you. Let go.
spirited away Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 That magazine deal says there is a minimum contract of 12 months I swear?
MoogleViper Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 That magazine deal says there is a minimum contract of 12 months I swear? No you can get a 6 month one. http://www.greatmagazines.co.uk/store/displayitem.asp?sid=3561&id=39820 And a 12 month one is more than double the price of a 6 month.
Ganepark32 Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 & Haven't seen Donnie Darko in ages and wanted to watch it, so I bought it And the new MCR album is actually pretty good.

Even that site says: The minimum term is 12 issues. We reserve the right to replace the free gift with one of equal or higher value in exceptional circumstances of excessive demand. I'm hoping that they may take 2 sets of £20 as opposed to the one year £45.

EEVIL is right, the site says this. ** Direct Debit purchases have to be bought individually and minimum subscription term is 12 months. Your basket contents will be kept safe for you while you set up your Direct Debit. Bit of a jip really, the game won't exactly be £20 as initially thought.
LegoMan1031 Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Back to the Future limited edition trilogy tin (blu ray) £43 from Play.com £18 from Play.com when i ordered but has since gone back up to £30.
drahkon Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 YES! And: Never heard of them...Amazon recommended it to me. Listened to one song...and bought it.
