Shino Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 My name's quite original, it came from character of this obscure cartoon animation from Japan. At the time the anime was at an all time low so I started reading the manga and when this character finally appeared I was super hyped with it, which coincided with the moment I finally decided to join the forum. Interesting isn't it? I've thought of changing it to Endovelicus, the Lusitan patron god.
Fierce_LiNk Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Well, I was a very big fan of Majora's Mask at the time that I started browsing C-E. I dunno how I even found it...must have been looking for Zelda Wallpapers or something. Anyway, I saw the forum at the top, and thought hmm...this could be fun. I wanted to pay an Ode to Fierce Deity Link, so I chose Fierce Link, as adding the Deity seemed a bit...too much. I chucked in the underscore, as it looked a bit empty with just the space. I have no idea why the N in Link is capitalised. I think I may have just somehow did it accidentally, or added it in because I was a n00b at the time. I didn't even realise I had it until some bugger pointed it out afterwards. Then, it was like "oh yeah, so it is." And thus, one of this generation's greatest mysteries is solved. So yeah, that's a rather longwinded way of saying "I liked Majora's Mask", isn't it? Oh well. Hoo har!
Solo Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Pretty obvious when you look at my avatar and not in the slightest bit original.
Aimless Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 My username isn't original, it is just who I am. When I change my ways, I'll change my name. Simple.
Mr_Odwin Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I chucked in the underscore, as it looked a bit empty with just the space. And the fact that Xsorbit didn't allow spaces in names probably contributed (hence my underscore). Or was there a pre-xsorbit N64 kinda-time? Mr Odwin is a character in a Douglas Adams novel - The long dark teatime of the soul.

Jav_NE Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Well, my name used to be javhardy, which was when i was much younger and obsessed with wrestling. Jeff Hardy was my favourite wrestler, so i just put Jav instead of Jeff and made it one word. Clever no? Incidentally Google asks you if you meant Jeff Hardy when you type it in! But it does also come up with a strange link that has the names of the old C-E admins on!
Dan_Dare Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Anyone else find it a bit weird that we're so easy to net stalk, even as alias'?
gARYgREATIE* Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I literally have no idea why I'm called gARYgREATIE* at some time in my life I entered my name on all computer games as gary or gary greatie. Reverse capitals with an asterisk embellishment seemed like the only logical direction to take it.

ReZourceman Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 That was years ago. When I was desperate. It just shows up as one of the top results, as Im one of the most awesome people on that site.
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 If you search for your name, coupled with fine words like "teehee", I'm not surprised.
Gizmo Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Its my name... Its quite common due to a certain dumb ass with giant boobs.
Guest Jordan Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Gah, I don't understand my body. I'm gradually getting thinner... but my chin keeps the same EPIC size. Also, I don't have boobs
ReZourceman Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I cant see any problem with your chin dude.
Jimbob Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Mine is my nickname everyone calls me, thats basically it really. It used to have numbers next to it, but has since changed a while ago.
Babooo Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 My username means "young boy" in Nepalese. I am Nepalese. And I am a boy. Go figure.
Ganepark32 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 The name came from a spelling mistake I made when signing up to forums on a different site. The actual name I was to type was Gamepark32 after the Korean handheld GP32. Since then I've just kept my usernames for most forums as Ganepark32. Sounds and looks better for some reason than having Gamepark32.
Eddage Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Mine is my name with 'age' added to the end of it. Used to get called it by a couple of people at an old job of mine. Sadly it was already taken on Xbox Live, so I stuck Raw in front of it, Raw being the first three letters of my surname.
Jon Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 My username normally consists of the Name Jon (my name) and one other word, which varies from place to place.
somme Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Mine was an old band name I had - it has nothing to do with the battle.
