RoadKill Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Enjoying Desperate Housewife's Cringing and mentally correcting errors.
Aimless Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 What's wrong with enjoying Desperate Housewives? It's a good programme. I suppose Neighbours is a guilty pleasure, although not so much of the 'guilty'. I wouldn't tune in if my mum didn't watch it anyway, and it isn't that I consider it to be genuinely excellent television, but it is inoffensive fun. I can't stand Eastenders as it takes itself far too seriously — making how ridiculous the programme is particularly jarring — but Neighbours is just the right side of tongue-in-cheek viewing. I always enjoy extended metaphors. They're best when taken to ridiculous extremes, such as stretched to cover entire paragraphs. I like messing up my hair as it feels great. It helps that my haircut is about as fashionable as plaid. Most of all I love being facetious. Sometimes it throws people off, but the best times are when you get a nice rapport going.
Dante Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 If Neighbours is a guilty pleasure then that is mine. 15 years watching it.
ipaul Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Liking Hadouken and dancing to really awful music but enjoying myself alot at the same time
Paj! Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Desperate Housewives is great. On Wednesdays, I have Life Drawing class at 5.30, after a school day that finishes at 3.30. It usedto start at 6pm, so I went into town with my friends, and went down to school again, but stopped at the chip shop that re-opens at 5.30 and grab a small portion and stuff them down in time to get to class. However, now I can't be in 2 places in once. I have to settle for early McDonald's in town. Not the same...
scubahood Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Special K. I feel you on that one had a lot of special k when halo 3 came out made it a much better game. Haven't had any in a long time though need to have some soon lol
Raining_again Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Crunchy Nut Clusters With Chocolate Curls.Lots of them. Lots and lots. QFT! Crunchy nut and chocolate curls are awesome! Also foot long steak and cheese subways Everything food related makes me feel guilty
Rummy Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 -Terrible Jokes. I'm talking old man/dad humour here. -Complaining about stuff like an old man, and damn punk kids these days! -Chewing shit, generally plastic stuff, I cannot explain why but I have a habit of chewing random crap, and I love it. -Bad/Generally disliked Music. -No matter how bad or how unfunny it might be to everyone else, I cannot resist any oppurtunity to make a joke. -Sugar/Sweets. I'm a fiend for sweets. I've eaten ~3 bags of skittle over the past 3 days. -Rolling my hair in my fingers. -Cracking my knuckles, the louder the better. Sometimes randomly doing the finger slap thing, if you know what I mean(like a whip of the hand slapping your first two fingers to make a slap noise). Sneezing hard and loud. -Sarcasm. -Bit of social network stalkery. -Saving money through various means, such as being a pirate. -Kids shows and cartoons. -Two pints. -Being intentionally annoying in a niggly way to certain mates. Being immature. -Big yawn stretches. -Singing in the full knowledge that I can't. -Procrastinating. -Occasionally watching Trisha. -Stuff that shines. Borrowed some I hadn't thought of that other people did. I used to do Mundi's thing of washing my hands in reallly hot water, and sometimes I turn the shower up right at the end so it's sooooo hot before turning it off. I love being hot.

nightwolf Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Liking Hadouken and dancing to really awful music but enjoying myself alot at the same time oo a hadouken fan ^.^, snap! My music taste is probably another guilty pleasure !
KKOB Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Sitting in starbucks reading alone, when i should be revising.
Dan_Dare Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 few music ones: Girls Aloud are ace I genuinely consider Take That's Back For Good to be one of the best pop records of all time.
Fresh Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 I know this is bad but I do laugh at very poor/sometimes racist/generally in bad taste jokes. Eg: Why did diana cross the road? B'cos she wasn't wearing her seat belt. How did they know Diana had dandruff? B'cos they found her head and shoulders in the glove compartment
Charlie Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 watching jeremy kyle Nothing wrong with that. Classic student television. ITV 2, 3 and 4 are so much better than ITV1.
Coolness Bears Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 I don't think i have any guilt pleasures i'm pretty open about what i like! My music taste is all over the place! Desperate Housewives is Awesome! :awesome: My Secret shame however: is eating flowers... "so that explains his mysterious trip to Holland" I don't think you should be guilty about what you like or anything! If you enjoy it then it shouldn't matter what other people think of it!
Kirkatronics Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 I give WAY too many hugs, they make me feel so good. From anyone, it doesn't matter... Hugs with certain people can last hours if they love hugs as much as me (When does a hug stop being a hug, and become a cuddle?)
scubahood Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Not sure if that's the special K Somme is talking about :P Shit I must of been having the wrong stuff that would explain why i didn't drop a jean size:heh:

B'cos she wasn't wearing her seat belt. How did they know Diana had dandruff? B'cos they found her head and shoulders in the glove compartment That's another one for me. I laugh at these jokes. Also some more I remembered; as soon as a band becomes famous over here I dislike them. Still listen to them occasionally though. I pretend to be pretty stupid around my friends to make them laugh. I'm not that stupid, I just find company who are laughing to be more enjoyable to be around.
killthenet Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I think that's the first time in 277 posts that he hasn't referred to himself as McCoy. Your therapy may be over. I have no guilty pleasures. Although...
Slaggis Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Enjoying Desperate Housewife's There's no need t be guilty, it rocks. -- Enjoying Bring It On. I shouldn't, but I love it.

Jimbob Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 My biggest guilty pleasure is gaining a measure of retribution on people who seriously piss me off. And when i mean seriously, i mean seriously. Please read my weekend post in the How was your Day thread to understand why. I have other pleasures, which will be revealed later.
