A lot of people are putting losing weight/diet/exercise as a NY resolution.

Isn't it tradition to try and lose weight when the new year comes around anyway?

I wouldn't call it a tradition....but it is one of the obvious ones.

Anyway mine are:

-Get fitter and lose this xmas belly (:heh: )

-Pass A-levels and start uni

-Learn how to drive

-Meet the perfect girl (aint gonna happen!:heh::smile: )

-Get richer!

Have a happy new year everyone!: peace:

- not so much "get fit" or "lose weight" but look after myself a bit more. eat well, drink well, keep up the exercise, and do more DS yoga

- become complete skinflint. so that (a) i will be saving lots while working in japan so i might be able to come home in the summer, and (b) so i can really treat people next christmas ^_^

- be brave, independent and true to myself

i'm happy though - 'cause i've managed to fulfill 2007's resolution: "get a job in japan!"

I have 3 goals for this year:

-Get fitter and start bulking up more. I've got back into the routine of doing weights and push-ups everyday and i'd like to get into better shape to do a 5mile run for charity sometime soon.

-Stop being someone else and just relax and be myself way more. I tend to use humour as a self defense mechanism whenever i feel awkward or during tense moments and i want to get rid of that. I'm sure i'd get so much more that way lol.

-Seeing as I'm staying an extra year at school as I caught chickenpox during exams, I would like to get to know more people in the year below me and i'll be studying with some of them next year. Ooo and hopefully if I can get A's this year I should be able apply for medicine (though its going to be TOUGH lol).

-Try to keep my fitness levels up, it's been appalling since starting uni

-Join the uni tennis team

-Go to at least one lecture for each subject each week (going to all of them isn't going to happen)

-Finish work before the night before its due

-Get the Swimming Teachers Certificate (Full) Qualifiction

I have a few.

Mines are to start drawing again and stick to projects I start doing. I get loads of ideas but never follow them through.

Better my time-keeping. I always end up late for things no matter how hard I try to this year i'm gonna try and improve. This also goes with to stop being so lazy.

Act on my emotions more so I don't have any regrets.

Study for Uni more so I can pass my exams.

There are more those are the only ones people need to know :heh:
