Eddage Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Ok guy and gals I need your help! Tomorrow at work it's gonna be hella busy, thanks to the fact that we have *drum roll* ...The Tweenies coming to Animal Farm! I am going to be stuck in the kitchen cooking all day and my fellow cook and I decided that we needed some good music to keep us going. I have been put in charge of coming up with the play list and as the title suggests the main focus is cheese, although any other real party songs, the kind that'll get you on the dance floor, of any genre will fit the bill the nicely! This is where you guys come in, I need your help to get this list going! There is no limit to the amount of songs as we'll be stuck in that kitchen from 9:30 til about 6:30 in the evening. So there you have it, your mission has been set, suggest away!
Charlie Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I wish I had your job. Steps - 5678 S Club 7 - Reach Ozona - Dragoste din Tei (the numa numa song)
Eddage Posted August 7, 2007 Author Posted August 7, 2007 So, this isn't really about cheese? Not the edible kind, no.
Sanchez Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I proclaim that Orkney is the finest cheese on this planet.
darksnowman Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I proclaim that Orkney is the finest cheese on this planet. I've had some nice Swiss cheese and actually, one that was really good was smoked cheese. I'd recommend some of the smoked stuff for a go! My cheese knowledge was getting good but I've forgotten it now... Coleraine Chedder!?
Coolness Bears Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 My two reccomendations, are the two songs i have heard at every Wedding reception i have ever been to. They always get people dancing and are made of pure cheese. They are YMCA and the Macarena!!!
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I demand Chacarron is played. The kids will LOVE it.
4q2 Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Severe Punishment - Dark by Design Hostile - Paul Glazby Raining Blood - Slayer
rokhed00 Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I've had some nice Swiss cheese and actually, one that was really good was smoked cheese. I'd recommend some of the smoked stuff for a go! My cheese knowledge was getting good but I've forgotten it now... Coleraine Chedder!? I always find swiss cheeses to be far too mild, I prefer my cheese with a bit of bite. And on the music front you need some Agadoo.
Bluejay Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I demand Chacarron is played. The kids will LOVE it. I second this notion. SHAKARON SHAKARON NA NA NAA NANA NA NER NER SHAKARON SHAKARON
Ellmeister Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Play the teletubbies song so loud that the tweenies will hear it.
triforcemario Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I say Rickroll them all, followed by Chocolate-Rainrolling them.
Jimbob Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Cha Cha Slide, YMCA, Macarana are just a few of the cheesy songs that i know get played at every party or wedding. Even that Superman song where you do the actions is cheesy enough.
Bluejay Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I say Rickroll them all, followed by Chocolate-Rainrolling them. This is another gold suggestion. Take heed sir.
EEVILMURRAY Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Get the Lazy Town album. A quality soundtrack. I listen to a few tracks each day. I shit thee not.
Fierce_LiNk Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 If it's cheese you want, cheese you shall get. Rick Astley - Never gonna give you up Aha - Take on me Erasure - A little respect Spice Girls - Say you'll be there 5ive - Keep on moving Ace of Base - Life is a flower Weezer - Buddy Holly or Keep Fishin These are my prefered choices.
fatnickc Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Get the Lazy Town album. A quality soundtrack. I listen to a few tracks each day. I shit thee not. God I've got to get that. I love Lazy Town, yo. <- Sounds so gangsta.
Retro_Link Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Hansen - Mmm Bop MC Hammer - U Can't Touch This (Hammer Time) Bus Stop - Kung Fu Fighting The Foundation - Build me up Buttercup Lou Bega - Mambo No 5
Eddage Posted August 8, 2007 Author Posted August 8, 2007 Cheers for the suggestions guys, although Retro, you were a little late since I was already home from work by the time you posted! I did have four out of five of your suggestions in there though. I would list the songs I ended up using but there's 50 of 'em and I'm lazy! Needless to say it was a roaring success, especially finishing off with Y.M.C.A. Great times were had by all kitchen staff!
Gizmo Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 When I saw this thread title, I thought it was some kind of discussion on cheese varieties. I was preparing my defense of Mild Cheddar, when my dreams were shattered
