Really irritating issue that imho. Its easily rectified by pushing harder on the bar, but that isnt doing the wear and tear any good on it. I took mine apart to see if it is something that can be fixed and saw the problem straight away....The gap on the downstroke magnetic sensor is possibly too big (upstroke is a lot closer on mine). The problem is the gap cannot be closed without screwing the warranty. The only fix I can come up with (and I havent tried it yet) is to add a lair of that flexible magnetic strip used for fridge magnets and magnetic insoles.

I agree that the film was supposed to be empty in feeling, but the way it was done was boring....They could have removed the whole section of nothingness and it wouldnt have impacted the story in any way. It wasnt like it built a character or aided the storyline, it was more like a city scenery wankfest. I feel I could have fallen asleep for most of the film and would never needed to ask if I missed anything. The movie recommendation you suggest...count it on my list to be watched...It sounds like it could be interesting.

The word rubbish as pointed out by more than a few people in this thread was never really in or out....It has always been in my dictionary, but usually gets replaced by the word 'Shit' (I am a trooper like swear person). The only word I can think of in recent times that has had a minor revival is 'Ace'...In my Junior school years this word was used to saturation point until someone introduced the meaning to be an abbreviated form of 'A crap effort'. "My Rubiks cube is ace" "Haha....You mean its a crap effort" *Slap* A word that still is a joy to use although politically incorrect is 'Spacker' Would love to see that make a true return as it rolls off the tongue so easily and gets the point across. One phrase more addictive than smack once it habitually takes over: "you fancy a beer ?" "Yeah man" The net introduces so many words these days its unreal, but most are netspeak or txtspeak so they can be difficult to introduce, although 'for the win' occasionally creeps into rl conversation with me

The place has a lot of historical buildings (And road crossing ducks). May have caused some structural damage imho. Im surprised it was felt as far as it was. At first I thought it may have been mining subsidence in the local area, then I got a text from my other half 40 miles away in Leeds saying it had woke everyone in their house. Oh well, I experienced floods last year, earthquake tonight and the end of HD DVD last week....Armageddon is approaching.

I'd be surprised if it was cos it wasnt felt all the way across England.....I could be wrong though.

I agree....I would happily join you. I genuinely dont think I coud come up with 10 celebrities I wouldnt want to punch, and then I would probably get bored of listening to their pretentiousness after 10 minutes. The Self Righteous Brothers had it right imho with the comment: "Celebrities....Who do they think they are ?"

I can crack my schlong.....Cant even work out how I learnt that one. Also I can make my left big toe crack anytime as many times as I require. (as a habitual finger cracker of many years, none of my other joints do this without a "recharge" period). I also talk to myself often, but only because there are a lot of ignorant people out there.

I had an excellent time whilst I was single........Then I got bored of going home to an empty bed too often, then I met a gorgeous girly and all has been good for the last 4.5 years.

Ok...Few instant thoughts here: I can sort of see where some people are coming from within this thread.... If honest I still now think people are being harsh with what the Wii can and will offer and will state what I have said from the outset....The concept of the Wii is still new and hasnt had chance to prove itself. Simply put it is much more than the sum of its parts.. I am guilty of letting the little blighter gather dust at the moment due to a stockpile of 360 games and the obsessive need to collect achievemnts, but the Wii is still there being the only console pushing the envelope in any new exciting direction...I maybe do get the occasional feeling that it wont be the Wii that makes the true gaming revolution that we all expected/hoped for, but Nintendo have the right idea and enough ppl have bought in for them to continue pushing the revolution into the future. 15 months may seem a long time to some people for Nintendo to have pushed this idea out fully and got devs into programming the Wiimote, but go back to early systems such as the NES and it took longer than that for developers to master programming the D-pad. It will get there eventually, but we can hardly blame Nintendo for 3rd parties lack of vision or lack of knowledge of how to program the Wiimote or lack of confidence in investing in the product until they work out how. It is obvious that Nintendo are doing a sterling job here and it can only be the above that is causing the problem. One thing is for certain....N are still a player and they have shook up the market which is never a bad thing... Everybody who invested in the console can pat themselves on the back as being part of that shake-up and possibly making the games that are detracting their attention from the Wii for now that little bit better.

Rez HD is making me very moist atm and cannot wait till next week . Will be very nice to kick EDEN's butt out of that electronic depression of hers again and I wont begrudge Mizuguchi 800points for a second copy of such a beautifully crafted piece of gaming history SC5 on Wii ? It would be nice, in all honesty I see it hitting Xbox live first...but would love to see a rerelease of any description cos its another game I never get tired of no matter how many times I complete it. Plus Ulala is a legend... Up, Down - Up, Down, Down - Shoot, Shoot, Shoot !! Gimme SC5 ultimate edition (pts 1 & 2) and I will be happy forever.

I remember purchasing that for the sum of £7.95 on the day it was released...Was on holiday in Skeggy at the time. Melbourne House...Wonder what happenened to them ? If they mentioned Fist they would have been shot for not mentioning IK+ though.

I liked the one showing GLaDOS being beat in 1 minute via clever use of a turret...

Not to take away from the serious nature of this post but that picture amuses the crap outta me. All it seems to be missing is the emperor slapping his thigh with a box of cheap chinese fireworks tucked under his arm...... Space raiders.....Its a disgrace, but yep it is the second time around these corn snacks have been raped of everything pure etc. (5p FTW). Add them to the graveyard of great things during youth along with 10p suncharm minipops, 5p Mr Freezes, 15p Mars bars, 12p Walkers crisps and 1/2p Mojos.

Was a fantastic game. Being a fan of Parody, Gradius/Nemesis, and Pop and twinbee/Bells and whistles, I was hard pushed to find a reason to dislike the title.

I cant be bothered with it anymore....havent since I moved back home years ago. Nothing interests me on it in all honesty and if it is something I miss I can usually source it somewhere on teh interweb pretty quickly.

Shame.... Did a great line in licensed toys when I was knee high.

Trying to (partially) complete the gaming backlog, a bit of TF2/HL2/SMG and probably going through coop on GH3 with my other half. That, drinking beer and eating junkfood.
