So it releases on the 25th, but you can't play it on day one unless you pay extra. It's crazy that Microsoft are still doing this on ports, it's bad enough on regular releases. -

Yeah, but by the same arguement, they are only half putting in on the PS5 then... if you're going to release big games like that, might as well go physical with the game release, to show that you're serious, otherwise, they might as well just make Game Pass available via PS5 somehow at this point, and have all of these games available on it on day one, then sell all the DLC as extra, that's where they'll make the extra revenue. -
Oh dear, @S.C.G, seems there's already an update on the plans for a physical release on PS5: there are none (currently), per the game's Twitter/X account. Can't say I'm surprised, but this still sucks. Then again, outside of the reasons I mentioned before, I kind of get it from a PR perspective – can you imagine how it would look and the headlines it would generate to have a physical copy of the next Halo game on PS5? It would be a total brand meltdown and physical embodiment of admitting defeat. -
Looks like pure shit. Honestly the relationship between Pokemon fans and Pokemon games is like that of an abusive husband and his wife. Everyone keeps telling her that he's bad news, and she should leave him, but she reckons he can change, and this time it'll be different. But he ain't going to change, not if she keeps coming back even when he refuses to change his behaviour.
