Kav Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I'd be more tempted to buy Indies on the Switch because of its portable nature. Some looked pretty good!
Hero-of-Time Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Good little presentation. Wargroove looked amazing. Nice to see Overcooked making its way to the Switch. That's another game that is perfect for the platform.
Hurio64 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Oh man. I hope it's Rocket League This would be immense , portable rocket league.
peterl0 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Did I miss something or do we, at two days out, still not have a definitive final list of eshop games available for launch? If so that is staggering. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sméagol Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Not interested in all of them, but I'm definitely getting some of them. My favourite was Flipping Death. Others from the top of my head are Steamworld dig 2 (htough I wonder if I need to play the first), Danbara, ehh that Blaster game, and maybe the fantasy Advance Wars.
Ronnie Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Fucking hell. That was an amazing mini presentation. Blown away by the amount of games, the quality of said games, and the slickness of the video itself. Nintendo seems to have done a brilliant job of curating the best looking indie games out there, I lost count how many I would be picking up. Oh and Steamworld Dig 2!! FUCK YES. Bravo Nintendo.
dazzybee Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Loads of good stuff, can't believe Runner 3 is exclusive. Great great series. So many exclusives and timed exclusive. Disappointed at no Rocket League or Axiom Verge though
liger05 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Impressive amount of indie titles. Now we just need Nintendo to sort the store sales out. More sales and flash sales like you see on psn and xb1 and then we have a winner.
Ronnie Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Runner 3 was a really nice surprise, I loved the one on Wii U and this one looks even better. Great to see Overcooked and (multiplayer!) Stardew Valley on the way too. Oh and I thought 'Flipping Death' looked amazing.
Sméagol Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 [..] Axiom Verge Yeah that's definitely one title that would be perfect.
Nicktendo Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 My favourite part of that presentation was the use of the word "curating". I'm pleased Nintendo are playing an active role in what's released for the Switch. The thought of a Steam style free-for-all would be a massive turn off for me when it comes to e-shop titles. So excited for Streamworld Dig 2. The first game is awesome (review coming soon). Some other titles looked great, though I don't know how many I'll pick up as they launch, more likely I'll wait for a few sales or My Nintendo promotions.
Ronnie Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I was genuinely expecting 20 minutes of Shovel Knight, Snipperclips and Fast RMX gameplay and maybe a surprise indie trailer or two. To get quickfire game after game after game with loads of reveals and new announcements was very surprising. I hope this is another sign of new Nintendo.
Tim B Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Omg...most of those games looking freaking awesome!!! Never had a Nindie game before, unless Shovel Knight counts. My favourite, other than Yooka-Laylee which I already knew about, was Runner 3. Do we have the specific release dates of all these games yet? Also, does anyone know how much they're likely to cost?
khilafah Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Gonna need an SD card quicker than I thought. Great showcase for sure. Pocket rumble looks like Capcom vs SNK pocket for Neo Geo pocket. I played that game to death.
Happenstance Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 So was anything new announced for launch?
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 That teleporting game is mine! Also liked the cook-off game - loads of stuff to choose from, I like that. That guy did a good job presenting also.
Aneres11 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I really enjoyed that. So many games that looked really good. How good did Runner 3 look though?!
MindFreak Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Enter the Gungeon is in that picture and was confirmed afterwards.

Just thought it'd be what we know, with maybe one surprise. Really impressive.

Dcubed Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Is that... is that... TOWERFALL ASCENSION I SEE!?!? Oh my God! Yes!!! Finally! It was criminal that it never came to Wii U! It belongs on a Nintendo console! That's a total must have for anyone who wants a good local multiplier game!
markderoos Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Pocket Rumble, Flipping Death and Steamworld Dig 2 day one for me. Good showing! Is that... is that... TOWERFALL ASCENSION I SEE!?!? Oh my God! Yes!!! Finally! It was criminal that it never came to Wii U! It belongs on a Nintendo console! That's a total must have for anyone who wants a good local multiplier game! Wow, why difn't they show that in the Direct??? Great news
DazzeL Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 There are so many quality Indy games coming to Switch. It was an excellent direct, really looking forward to Warzone but lots of others also look interesting. The Escapists was really good so fantastic to see a sequel. Sheikah Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Very much looking forward to Stardew Valley and the multiplayer mode.
