Help me out here. Is it worth it? I've bought No Man's Sky recently again which is something I'll keep coming back to in the future. How does Elite Dangerous compare? Can you play this for an hour and still achieve something? Or do you really have to invest time to enjoy it?

Ah Elite Dangerous... unlike many on here I  really like it.  One of the reasons I do though is nostalgia, I played Elite on the C64 for hours and eventually reached the prestigious rank of Elite even that version of Elite was incredibly deep with a huge learning curve but I think we were a bit more hardcore and forgiving then.  Yes the new game must seem to many like Bastard Simulator 3000 but to me it was like reacquainting myself with an old friend.  One other thing to consider is the sheer amount of support the game is getting and from the sounds of it patch 2.4 is going to be massive with the much anticipated return of the Thargoids.  What the hell do I know though, I seem to have a habit of playing games that this community avoids like the plague so make of that what you will.

They are more like open world games but with a crazy streak to them. There's an insane amount of activities to keep you busy, they have a wacky sense of humour and have a fantastic combat system. Story seemed pretty good from the limited time I put into Yakuza 0.

The story thoughout the entire Yakuza series is brilliant, as are the characters. I high recommend getting them. Zero is a good place to jump in, especially as we are starting to get these Kiwami remakes.
