I'm planning on where to go this June for a week, always wanted to go around places in Italy so it's looking likely that we'll go there. Japan in the near future would also be nice, given I love their culture, cuisine and technology.

Anyway, where do you want to go, or where are you going this year?

Great Yarmouth in May

Spain/Palma JNova? In June.

INNIT.

Hopefully/(if funds permitting, which is the SOLE obstacle) back to Florida in 2012. And then either every year or every other year for THE REST OF MY LIFE.

I might also be going to Belgium for a conference, it's really expensive there in Gent though. Something like 120 euros per night for a single room. Beautiful place though.

Well, if it isn't good ol' Sheikah. : peace:

I'd like to go to New York or London but I can't afford it. Hopefully in 1-2 years I'll be able to do it.

I'm heading to the south of france for my 21st, few trips round, see some sites etc with the family.

I'll probably be heading to malta too at some point to visit the sister who recently moved there! :)

Nowheeeeeere :( Canne afford it unfortunately.

Although I suppose I went to Amsterdam (for business) in January if that counts. Would like to spend new years in Paris but would need to find someone to do that with.

Can't tell whether this was a really bad joke, or a really bad decision :p

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr no.

Lowestoft is nice-ish on a nice sunny day but Great Yarmouth is a craphole. I only know this because my grandparents used to embarrassingly have a caravan in a nearby site outside of Great Yarmouth . Also, have you been to Pleasurewood Hills?

My family never goes anywhere anymore. We've been to Florida "a lot" of times relative to most I guess, but I love it and so am still having withdrawl symptoms/whatever. Haven't been since 07.

We go to Orkney every year. *waves tiny flag* :blank:

Fact is Edinburgh is one of the nicest places I've been to in the UK and I live there so...

I wanna go to places overseas and explore their culture and stuff. My family never do that, I always go to places in Europe etc with friends or school and uni trips.

I've got Mauritius booked for November this year,

Next year all holidays are written off as myself and Mrs Murr will be hopefully moving into a bigger house.

so all money after Mauritius (and the majority of it now :( ) are going into my deposit funds.

Nooo. Might possibly go this year, if I can twist Claire's arm. There isn't exactly much there though (from what I gather)

I should be booking a 2012 trip to Florida some time in the next month or so.

You know the Eurostar isn't too far from Kingston.

If you plan to stay in one place, make it Rome. If not, get an interailing ticket for just Italy. I assume you're under £25, so it's a damn good deal!

I'm having a rather extravagant 2 holidays this summer - I'm going to Ohio and Toronto for two weeks in May, and then a long weekend in Munich for my 21st in July. I'm a lucky fish. :awesome:

Wow thanks for that, didn't know there was a cheap train option to get around.

Now I want to go to Italy you bastard!

Or should I say I want to go anyway but...tempting. Although its under 26. I'll still be under 26 next year (just about) so I may go then, when hopefully I'll have a job.

I fall under the "no money, too busy/more pressing priorities" category too, but I just found out about an event I'd like to go to and is realistic, though it's all the way in May 2012.

Royal Opera House, London:

Sum

May

A new chamber opera with music by Max Richter and Wayne McGregor as director and choreographer and inspired by David Eagleman’s cult book.

It's based on one of my favourite books ever, Sum: Forty Tales from the Afterlives by David Eagleman. Anyone ever been to the ROH?

All of the "no money" crowd might want to check this out. Sounds a bit airy-fairy to me, but you never know.
