  1. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas N-Europe. Enjoy the day, the family, the friends, the champagne and presents (doesn't need to be in that order)
  2. Daniel Craig Confirmed as Bond. Mendes confirmed as Director Not much more to say, 2015 = Star Wars VII / Avengers 2 / Bond 24... Nice
  3. Iron Man 3

    Source -
  4. New Tony Hawks Well If it's along the lines of 1 to 4, I wouldn't mind the return of the series, Heck I even enjoyed THUG, but after that... nope. Of course it could end up being a mobile game.
  5. Rainbow Six Siege

So enjoying the Terrorist Hunts on the BETA alot. Even lone wolf they're good fun. But I'm a little disappointed that there won't be any single player campaign for this.
  6. I thought I dropped you guys a message with my mobile number on. Maybe I didn't. Gonna go to the Rezzed show in April next if you guys are along for that?
  7. What an awesome awesome weekend EGX was. Business and pleasure. We got to cut queues for games, got to avoid queuing up with civvies to get in, got interviewed after playing Halo and will feature on a reel of feedback on their site. Got interviewed for and tagged in We scheduled a meetup with the staff from the board game section before EGX as they contacted us with regards to if we'd review board games on our site. So spent 3 hours playing games with them on Thursday night. They liked our EGX summary we did after the weekend so are officially in business with us sending us games to keep and review. Got front row seats to the Yohsida Q&A which was incredible. Such an awesome weekend. Gang Beasts was incredible, probably the highlight of it all. CupHead was also a massive surprise. If anyone was interested in our summaries we split them up into the 3 days we were there. Day 1 - Day 2 - Day 3 -
  8. New Tony Hawks

So this game is apparently.... terrible Pretty disappointing as I loved THPS in the day (Like I imagine post people did).
  9. Destiny

Noted, PS+ is happening soon due to the other games coming out this winter so I'll give it another shot properly.
  10. Gaming Screenshots

So I've been dabbling back on GTAV since completing MGSV. I was aware that you could hold circle or B to enable action camera view, but had no idea that if you clicked the analogue stick down it enabled slow motion. This blew my mind. So naturally I went to Sandy Shores and found a buggy. Switched to action view and went to slow motion. From here I just drove around aimlessly in the desert. Getting air, hitting animals, smashing the car up, causing havoc all in slow mo goodness. I was papping away at the share button and these 2 pictures looked pretty good so thought I'd enter this thread for the first time.
  11. Your 2015 Gaming Diary

And another one down. Completed Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Completed it a while back, but not been here for a little while.
  12. Destiny

I was given a copy of Destiny from someone at work who bought it a year ago, then bought the legendary edition (i think) that came with Taken King and all the DLC. So he gave me the vanilla Destiny disc. I said I'd never get into it. I wanted to avoid it, but for free I'm not going to pass it up. I don't have PS+ so I'm only playing single player at the moment and just hit level 8. Not entirely convinced by it so far to be honest. I'm already finding some of the single player missions repetitive. Go here, fight these enemies then hold out while Ghost does some stuff with something and fight off 2 to 3 drop ships of enemies then level ends. I guess the Destiny experience is all about the online side though with raids and such?
  13. PlayStation/Xbox/PC Bargains

Could have been, I just checked my confirmation and I've been charged £38 fortunately. Arriving today apparently. Happy with that.
  14. PlayStation/Xbox/PC Bargains

20th Anniversary Dual Shock controllers are £38 on Amazon: Seemed pretty cheap to me. Just bought one.
  15. MGS V: Phantom Pain

Yeah got the bond with her to max. I guess I've just got to keep finishing side ops then. Read so many different things like you need mother base fully upgraded, need to have x number of completed developments. Hopefully it's as you say and triggered by a mission completion count.
  16. MGS V: Phantom Pain

So I think I've broken MGSV.
  17. MGS V: Phantom Pain

Apologies if it's already been answered. But I've just completed mission 31 (which holy shit had my adrenaline pumping). At the end of the chaos, there's lots of cut scenes and then...
  18. I know the thread title reads straight out of something from Total Divas but it gets to the point. As you may or may not know I got married last April. We had no intentions to start a family last year or this year. But one thing we always discussed is when I turn 30, that's when we'd go for starting a family. Well I turned 29 last weekend, so yeah still plenty of time before we go the next stage in our saga. Tonight I knew my wife was going out straight from work visiting a friend she hadn't seen in a while. I went out with some friends for drinks and admittedly drank a lot and am drunk (Probably hence this thread) So, when home I got to bed and notice my wife has a bandage over her arm. I immidietly ask what's wrong and if she's okay. She responds "don't get mad, but when I enquired about the next batch of the pill, I also asked about an implant and they could do one this evening so I went for it". Well, I'm not mad, but just a bit stumped by it as I've read these things can last up to 3 years. And I guess I had it in my head we'd be trying for little Murrs next year, but it seems that the significant other maybe didn't see it that way. I'm Not sure if the implant can be removed earlier, or if this is is 3 year lock in? Unfortunately with me being a little intoxicated and my wife tired she went to bed while I just went downstairs and watched tv and pondered her decision. We didn't talk much at all from then and she's now asleep while I'm typing this. Am I over reacting to feeling a little bit "oh... Okay" when I guess I'd assumed we were both onboard for starting a family next year. Am I over reacting in that the implant can be removed earlier than 3 years(I genuinely don't know if it can or not)? Am I right in thinking that sort of decision was worth mentioning to me? Or am I just being a drunken overthinking pleb?
  19. Well we had a chat and as been mentioned on here, yes the implant can be removed relatively hassle free. It turns out that as of late the pill has been causing my wife to have stomach aches and just genuinely not feeling fully fit. Again to show how naive I am about all this apparently the pill can have numerous different effects on different woman and they can change throughout the duration of taking the pill. Aslong as I've been with her she's been on the pill and fine. But the last few months worth have had her feeling less energetic and not 100%. She had been looking at it as her pill routine was finishing and weighed up the pros about ease and hoped it'd stop any pains. That's why she went with it. No intent on preventing a family in the future, just a change of contraception in the hope that stomach pains go. So perhaps an overreaction on my part when I was told while drunk, but I guess I'd liked to have known if she was hurting and that's what made her choose. She did say that it's not a 3 year fix, but just a new and less painful way hopefully. Unfortunately I wasn't in the greatest of states to discuss it all with her last night and she went to bed while I watched tv downstairs without the real reasoning behind it coming out till today. Again probably my fault as overreacting to it while drunk.
  20. When I'm 30 she will be 27, so perhaps that's on her mind that she isn't ready for that stage next. I appreciate its her body of course and have no objections at all to what she does in that respect. It's more so that I believed that we had discussed that next year once I hit 30, we were both in for it, but I guess not. I would have liked to discuss that form of contraception first ideally. I wouldn't have objected but would like to have known that she had that idea on her mind.
  21. Growing Up

Had a mortgage for 3 years, Married for a year, posting threads about contraception, paying £41 a month for a boiler for another 3 years and paying off a car for another 4 years.... But still been to McDonalds once a week for the past 3 buying kids meals to collect the mario toys that come with them and getting game vouchers for birthday pressies from work colleagues and family. Growing up sucks cause dealing with 2 day hangovers is just terrible, but I love being able to afford £160 on a batman lego tumbler because fuck it I wanna build a batman lego tumbler at my age. Can't see my age stopping me from doing what I enjoy, and I can't see me changing what I enjoy as I get older. If anything I'm going to do more childish stuff and buy more things I want now I can afford it.
  22. Damn, was edging closer and closer to Marvel getting the rights back.
  24. Finally...(56k warning)

Congratulations to you both @Eenuh and @Fierce_LiNk Awesome story on the proposal... Now enjoy it all, the wedding fairs are pretty good, free champagne, free cake tasting. Flink, just some advice, you are interested in everything Eenuh asks you and suggests to you... smile and nod, just smile and nod. It's a whirlwind now till the big day!
