Ashley Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I think I might be allergic to these things! Bit awkward. For a while I thought I might be developing hayfever because my eyes were watery and my nose sniffley but then I thought about how it only hit once I got back home (from London for Easter) and seems to be while I'm actually in the house. So I've washed all my sheets, hoovered everything in my room and banished the cats (from my bedroom). We'll see how it goes. Aaaanwyay allergies? Who has them? Who doesn't?
Daft Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I'm allergic to these, too. Oh noes!! And they love me. The little bastards. Although I'm waaay less allergic to some types.
Cube Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I also think I'm allergic to cats. I seem to get sniffles more when I'm spending a week at my Mum's house (where the four cats I mention live). However, even if I am allergic to cats, I still want some cats when I get a place of my own.
Happenstance Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I can get pretty bad hay fever, it differs from year to year but some years my eyes will close completely up
Iun Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Aspirin, vinegar, seafood. Individual symptoms for each: Rash. Fever, vomiting. Chronic poops.
EEVILMURRAY Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Facepaint, although I might've grown out of it.
Raining_again Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 intense exercise - my throat starts closing up and my skin goes bright red itchy & swollen, never gotten as far as anaphylaxis, but nearly. I still exercise though, just gotta know when to stop.
EddieColeslaw Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Mild-to-terrible hayfever/dust allergy. I developed an allergic reaction to drinking a certain brand of raspberry smoothie years ago, but I haven't seen it around since.
chairdriver Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I'm allergic to something in Kiwi fruits. Same thing that's also in sweet and sour chinese sauce, and certain boiled sweets. Makes me sweat and become aware of my tongue and go light-headed.
Magnus Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Hay fever here. I spend every summer wishing I were dead. And not in the positive Paj way. And they love me. The little bastards. Although I'm waaay less allergic to some types. I don't think they love you - I think they can just sense that you're allergic to them.
Daft Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Yeah, I mean that's why they love me. They love fucking with me. Seriously, I get random cats walking up to me.
dwarf Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I'm a cat magnet. I get allllll the pussy. Uhm I get hayfever, as I said a year or two back. Hope you found it interesting back then and find it interesting now, because it is. Some people who go on forums get it you know. Make of this knowledge what you will.

heroicjanitor Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I haven't encountered any yet. I'll let you know after I eat my peanut butter, shellfish and wheat sandwich while petting a cat. There appears to be pollen on my sandwich? Wonder how it smells.

Jon Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Nuts. The first time i ate a Snickers was just about the last time I ate anything.
Diageo Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I think I'm sort of sensitive to temperature changes and maybe dust. I get a blocked nose a lot, mostly in winter where I go from warm indoors to cold outdoors.
jayseven Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Lol dan :P I'm allergic to MSG and may also be allergic to aspirin, which sucks. R_A; fairly sure you can't be allergic to the exercise itself. Psoriasis acts up real bad with sweat because pores are congested. You'll never get anything worse than aggravated rash symptoms - even if they are a bitch.

The Mad Monkey Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Am allergic to penicillin, dentist gave me some for gum disease when I was young and had a really bad reaction, throat almost totally closed up, couldn't swallow, could barely breath. Was really shit, thought I was going to die.

You'll never get anything worse than aggravated rash symptoms - even if they are a bitch. Its a histamine response which is essentially an allergy its quite unusual. I've got all, but a few, of the symptoms on the list http://www.aafp.org/afp/2001/1015/p1367.html (exercise induced Anaphylaxis) I don't have any physical symptoms of psoriasis anymore because I'm in remission, but yeah sweat on psoriasis is a complete bitch!! So glad I don't have that problem anymore lol
