Good stuff;

Plucked up the courage to open my bank statement. I AM fucked, but I was expecting to be FUCKED, but instead I'm just fucked. In fact I'm like...£400 less fucked than I thought I was.

I SRSLY need a job now though. So much LEGO I need thats just been released. That Alien Conquest stuff I've spammed a few times this year came out this/last week.

Oh....shit....erm....I didn't do a post/thread about my weekend in Yarmouth. I'll do that tomorrow and upload a few videos from it. But I'm also seeing my friend about the Ezine I'm editting tomorrow lunch (lulz/crack knucklez/I'm awesomez) and then hopefully comic delivery, then I'm seeing Molly and Spenno in evening, who I havn't seen in ages. So tomorrow will be epic and good I think. Hopefully. Etc.

I started at Jagex today - the only good thing about my day (although it's a very cool one.)

Cool, I applied for a job there recently. Had to do an online assessment on Friday, not heard back how that went (yet).

What section did you apply for?

I ended up waiting over three weeks to hear a reply (they say three weeks is max.) so if you don't hear straight away - don't give up hope.

That brings me to my good day, I did really well and got trusted to use the system today and made one mistake out of many. So I'm happy and it seems my trainer is too!

I also rang up about my card details being stolen, thats not sorted and just need to file a claim tomorrow, also have someone showing me cambridge saturday, so I'll know things!

Nothing major, but I just got a perfection in Halo Reach :heh: Also remembered to save the video for it this time. Also, first exam tomorrow and after some revision I'm not feeling too bad about it. Will probably still fail given my shite coursework mind.

I've got a wedding to photograph at the end of July. I wasn't exactly excited about it as it will be my first paid one and I don't really think my camera is up to it.

Today I was discussing the camera I'm saving for (Canon 5D MK2, £1700 for just the camera, no lenses!) with one of our photography managers. I said that I'll have to chance my current camera, since I won't be able to afford the 5D in time. He said that he should be able to help by lending me the works 5D for it. Awesome.

I applied for Content Developer and Game Programmer, they got back to me about the Content Developer job. So fingers crossed.

Things are picking up for me.

Have an interview tomorrow for a position in the Marriot, Chepstow to work on the Leasure desk. Had another call from the Marriot, Chepstow earlier this morning. Have another interview on Saturday to work in Housekeeping.

And, to add the icing onto the cake (and the cake as well). I get a call from the Tax office, they have 5 full-time fixed term positions available. Of which they asked if i were interested, of course i'm blooming interested. They offered me a position, on conditional terms. Just need to pass a health form and i'm done, then it gets offered for real.

Edit: The job is on a fixed term, from 13th June until the 31st March 2012. 9 month contract, which ain't too bad.

Can't be totally bothered to explain my holiday in full so I'll summarise bits. Won a donkey with £5 attached to it from a grabby machine. Bubblegum ice cream again. Lol interracial porn feedback card in a museum (see video), awesome food, brisk and windy weather. Column looking. Chip and Fish searching, finding a couple of contenders CLOSED on a Saturday early evening?! Drove a fucking sick Ford Mondeo. Absolutely coolest driving experience of my life, brand new, no fucking little bitch could keep up with me, was tearing it up and so smooth/amazing/stuck to road. I got up to like...110MPH, and looked at the speedometer and was like "What the fuck"........because the car wasn't shaking violently and sounding like it was about to fall apart, it felt like we were only going like...80 and it feels WAY WAY WAY too safe. I did reduce speed. Epic sauce. Crappy wax works! BB gun win. Slots. Pirate mini golf. On the way back we went to the "Model and Toy Expo" which is an INSANELY huge place. 4 massive halls with models and LEGO and stuff. The LEGO range was insanity.

I suppose you could say I'm in a good position in that I can't decide which jobs I want to do!

Current situation:

-Swimming Teacher, I get a good amount of work and money from this but it's not enough to support myself AND there's no sick or holiday pay. No holiday pay is a big thing because there are no lessons in July, 2 weeks at Christmas/Easter, another week in October which means during those times there's no income.

-Club Glasgow, start up, not going to make money any time soon.

-JustAddChilli, start up, doing well but will take a while to make money too.

Been offered:

-Aquatics Advisor + swimming teaching, 8 hours contracted each week for the advisor role. Teaching will build up. Will start slowly but shouldn't take too long to get a full roster of swimming lessons again = good money and still have time to work on my own ventures.

-SEO/Web development for the same company I'm teaching at at the moment. If I take the Aquatics Advisor I'd most likely lose out on this too because my boss is so stubborn.

*Intro = Predator!*

Torvill and Dean were uncanny!

Ahhh Louise Redknapp, what a fail-win!

To be fair it looks like they got Peter Beardsley spot on.

Last night was epic. Got last minute tickets to see the amazing Warpaint live at a local club. I'd given up on getting to the gig ages ago but fluked it in with my girlfriend. Totally boss show- really exciting live performance from the band who, as a bonus, are pretty much all smoking hot babes. Good times!

First exam today went better than I expected. So that's good. Not sure I'll have got the 60% or so I need to pass though. Urgh. Ah well, one down, only three to go and they should all be a lot easier to pass than that one.

I've finally done what needed to be done and freed myself from the shackles of my awkward relationship!

It feels good to be free. Thanks for all the support guys - you know who you are
