Tales Posted September 1, 2013 Share Posted September 1, 2013 Oh, talking about FFX HD, are we?Let me just throw this into the equation: Hearing the original takes me back...many, many, many hours spent on stat-maxing just to beat Penance. Never did it, though I think I was 15 or something when I played it. Loved it and pretty much because of that game a mate and I became best friends That arranged battle music...amazing. I probably spent a couple hundred hours on maximizing the sphere grid. Penance still handed my ass to me. Couldn't even do it after adding a game shark on top of the maxed sphere grid. Wasn't expecting Kuo to turn against us, which then made me think I had chosen the evil ending rather than the good one. Great game, really enjoyed it. It did so many things right; animation (even those weird After Effects cut scenes), story, characters and gameplay. Plus music by Jim Dooley! Which I didn't realise until I watched the credits, but even so. When Cole got the power that allowed him to be pulled towards objects, I can't be the only one that shouted "I AM SPIDER-MAN!"...right? I was tempted by Grandia and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite but I dont really know much about Grandia apart from the quick Youtube video I watched and with Monster Hunter I still remember struggling with 3U.
