Babooo Posted July 5, 2009 Share Posted July 5, 2009 Regarding Sony Ericssons: The k850i is appauling. Many many problems and I highly recommend that you stay away from the phone. Had it for 18 months and it was unbearable. That said though don't let that put you off Sony Ericssons - I recently got a....C902? I think? The one with the slidey out camera. The OS is the same but it hasn't crashed on me once and I've had zero problems with it. I highly recommend it. Agreed. Currently got the C902 handset from SE and have had no problems with it....but my sister who has an identical handset as me has had problems with the keypad on hers....it actually fell off, and had to go for repairs....still iffy and now she wants to change it. Which seems to be a feature of almost all SE lately not just my own. Yes, it indeed was the K850i. Shockingly put together phone. Sister had the model before and that had similar problems. had it for nearly 18 months and somehow, down on the horrible joystick thing somehow translates to a touchscreen press ¬_¬. Thank god I have my blackberry. I personally had nothing but problems with Sony Ericssons. Joystick failure, software seizing up. Joy. I know a lot of other people to have had problems too. Although the one thing I can say about the SE, the cameras are first class, best on the market imo. Wasn't totally sold on the camera. Kept thinking "why didn't you just buy a digital camera if you wanted to take photos..." Luckily my camera on my BB Storm is pretty nice so these thoughts are kept at bay for the moment. Agreed.
