  1. Space Invaders Extreme (PSP), Just Dance 3 SE (Wii), CV Soduku (PS2), Beat The Beat (Wii) and Yakuza : Dead Souls (PS3). I may even decide to sit out on the next gen of consoles/handhelds as I've too many games to finish off first!
  2. Not sure about the newer look PS3 but then I said that about the PS3 Slim and I wouldn't go back to my old original PS3 at all now. Pricing for the 12 GB Flash model seems too high, under £200 is a lot better. However I've heard that Sony will probably not set an official RRP for the UK so it's up to the high street and online retailers to set the prices. Does anyone know if the newer models use less electricity?
  3. Black Secret Technology CD and Confessions DVD.
  4. Already have Project Zero 2 (FF2) for the PS2 but will still get this for the Wii when it comes out. Would be nice with a Japanese audio option but I'm glad that this game is actually coming out, outside of Japan.
  5. I guess the console will be somewhere between £250~£280. Extra add ons will bump up the price more. Anyone know how much the games will cost?
  6. I remember the first Zombi game (Ubisoft's first ever game:grin:) on the Spectrum in the 80's, anyway I agree with other's that this could be the WiiU's Red Steel. This gen I've been less impressed with the words 'exclusive', it's all timed exclusives now.
  7. I've never saw RE: ORC as being anything more than just a time filler until RE6 comes out so I will wait until the price drops and then pick the game up.
  8. http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/2010/03/military_madness_nectaris They gave it an 8/10 score.

    Happy Birthday!!

  10. I'm not in Ireland but already know about those sports. Half my family are from N. Ireland. Shame we don't get to see them on standard TV anymore (like Channel 4 - UK) Does anyone remember 'Gaelic Games: Football' on PS2 before?
  11. I have neither a 3DS or Vita but I'd like to get both at some point in the future. Just hope Sony can drop the price sometime after (or before) launch.
  12. Flooding across parts of Taiwan and Thailand (where around 40% of hard drives are produced) last year caused this price increase. Of course not all Hard drives are manufactured in those countries but it hit the reserves of hard drives and suppliers have had to increased the prices until output can resume back to normal.
  13. Guys happy birthday! In 2 days time you can wish me the same.
  14. Interesting article. Never Gonna Give You Up ripped the baseline from Trapped by Colonel Abrams but no one mentions that.
  15. Did anyone see the Mr Bean episode where he sends himself Birthday cards that he wrote himself? Well a few years back I started to buy myself my own Xmas presents so that whatever I got for Christmas from others (of which I'm very grateful for) I would always have something that I liked myself so this year I bought a stack of 2nd PS3, Wii and DS games. I guess I'll be busy this Christmas. Happy Christmas to everyone!
  16. Beautiful looking game hides less than beautiful game play.
  17. I got this game as an Xmas present last year. I played a bit and then lost interest in it (I bought other games) but I'd like to get back to it at some point. Did anyone buy the DLC for this game and if so is it worth buying?
  18. From the 'main' list I've got on original cartridge- Donkey Kong Land (Series) Tori Toki Tomb Raider: Curse of the Sword Wendy: Every Witch Way Donkey Kong Country Perfect Dark Wario Land (Series) I'd like to add - Iridion 3D and Iridion II to the list if I could.
  19. Quote from Darkjak's original post: Pachter said that for the Wii to succeed, the console will need games: both the biggest and best multiplatform titles, which the Wii lacked, and killer apps, which to be honest the Wii never had either. Did you know how much the 'Just Dance' series (before it went multiplatform) sold on the Wii? "Ubisoft said in a statement that the currently Wii exclusive franchise has sold 14 million units to date worldwide." (Jul 2011) The reason I'm quoting Just Dance is that I think it's difficult to predict what games people are going to buy. Nintendo changed things a lot with the Wii and widened the range of people who would play video games. However I don't see a massive game change with the WiiU. All I see is more of Nintendo doing the same thing but with their current IP's running on a higher spec console. Above all I want games to be good and fun to play, I don't care what system they're on.
  20. The Wii is dead??? nah I turned it on today and it worked just fine! I'm playing a lot of Just Dance/DDR(DS) games on the Wii at the moment and some other games on my PS3.
  21. Have these games already on PS2 so don't feel the need to buy this shiny new HD version. Fine for people who don't however. I guess it's only a matter of time before someone at Capcom releases the Onimusha HD collection or something else...(Viewtiful Joe collection HD, Okami HD (incorporating Sony Move), God Hand HD... I remember all the fuss when DMC4 came out as multiplatform and now the back catalogue is going that way too. Ok, fine so perhaps Sony users can get the original Dead Rising for the PS3. The Wii version still gives me a bad taste in my mouth.
  22. A brand new boxed - Gameboy Micro - the Super Famicom Edition I'm sure in a few years time will be worth money.
  23. For some reason 'True Crime: Streets of New York City' sticks in my mind.
  24. I wouldn't worry too much. The controls on RE4 wii edition were good enough for me. Anyway this is Capcom we are talking about, they will release CV/RE4 on the PS3 and then 6 months later release it again with Move controls. Hardcore RE fans will buy both versions.
  25. Yeah that's true. Sad but true.
