An HDTV is needed for Full enjoyment of some games. Any game that has readable text while SD, is just fine on an older CRT TV. It may not be as crisp, but you can still enjoy it just fine. The exceptions are games like Dead Rising with unreadable text while in SD, or if you have a particularly old CRT that gives a blurry picture no matter the source material. Besides, you guys(and me lol) are way off topic. @Dante, Problem is it weighs 200 lbs and only supports 1080i. Although it likely produces a better picture than just about everything else due to CRTs having the best black levels and color production.

It does look like it could be a fun distraction.

I don't know about Samsung PC products...MY laptop came with Samsung RAM that died twice. Netbooks with Established reputations would be Acer Aspire One and the MSI Wind. Try to get something with Intel Atom

No, he means the Depth of Field is a bit odd. Basically the only thing in focus in his chosen screen is the main character. The background(castle/treeline) is blurred, but so is the foreground(rabbit) It would look better if the enemy wasn't exploding because I suspect that it might have been in focus too judging by the fence. But it would be best if they choose either the background or foreground to blur and leave the other in focus. Although, I think it may be as you said and the background is blurred to help achieve their draw distance. Another good example though is opening the chest, the chest is blurred the background is too but the character isn't. It just looks a little off. Although, the main view of the castle and the jumping thing are both normal with only the far background out of focus.

I can appreciate it and see that it's good just don't care for it sorry. Also, like I said that may be attributable to the camera angles. I might change my mind some seeing it in motion.

Guess what guys, now you have even less reason to not own Fallout 1 and 2. http://store.steampowered.com/news/2741/ I respectfully only demand you all to buy Fallout 1&2 and Sacrifice. I don't know anything about Kingpin, and Fallout Tactics is fun but nothing that needs to be played.

I'm sorry, but I just don't like the style. It looks really good and clean and smooth, but I don't really like it. It may be due to the the crazy ass camera angles. @Shino, while I see what you mean, you missed the coffin in the first screen that is very reminiscent of Dragon Quest. Same with the main character too.

You could also pick up a second monitor. In my experience monitors offer a better picture than any TVs.

Amanda Crew is the one and only good point of the movie, and it isn't enough.

It certainly doesn't hurt to have more RAM. Although it is true that often times, a CPU can't even fully utilize the bandwidth of the RAM. Tom's Hardware did a decent article on it, although the new Core i7's and to a lesser extent Phenom II's can use much more of the bandwidth than DDR2 CPU's. It's mostly due to the FSB (front side bus) the FSB is indicated in speeds just like RAM, and whatever that speed is happens to determine how much bandwidth. I'm not fully versed in it all though, but a slow processor can't really use alot of RAM effectively, but more doesn't hurt, and can often still be beneficial. Toms I think that was the article I was thinking of, either way it does give some insight.

Thats funny, I saw a rumor a week ago stating the removal of the Pro dropping the Elite's price and removing the HDMI and Component cables from the Elite.

Rummy, on laptops the Graphics can share (and must for IGP's like Intel) the system RAM. They'll appropriate anywhere from 256MB to 1.5GB of the RAM depending on your settings. Although, the PC should still recognize that all 4GB are present even if some of it is being used for Graphics. So I'm not sure why you only have 2686MB.

NowI'm just theorizing, but I suspect it may be similar to Guild Wars or Phantasy Star Online/Universe. The cities acting as lobbies to gather a group of players, once the group leaves they become a lone group. I don't really know, although truthfully a littler research out to tell us how the Japanese version is set up, or if anyone imported it they should be able to give info.

To an extent yes. A pad will never match the speed and accuracy of a mouse, but with some skill you can still put up a good fight. And in something like TF2, it will depend on the class alot too. Sniper, I'd say no, Spy yes Solider to an extent pyro yes, and so on and so forth. Cube, maybe you could try an ergonomic keyboard or perhaps customize the controls to a comfortable position. The first thing I ever do with controls is make Left Shift Crouch since it's too damn hard to hit Left Control in the heat of battle.
-
Well that sucks, I can't say how the controls are or if TF2 supports the controller, as my buddy still uses the Keyboard Mouse combo with the controller just sitting on the desk.
-
Yes, my friend actually does that just so he can have a headset.

I'm on the sidelines, I'll hang out and interject my thoughts on occasion but don't really participate. I just watch and laugh at/with them. That isn't to say I never participate though, I do, do things I just don't do dumb things. I also remember damn near everything and will correct others stories and whatnots.

Errr I think you are referring to 32bit OS's only utilizing 3.25GB of RAM.
-
I don't really know why the rating would go down, but does it seem any faster to you?
-
If you're just going to be doing basic PC tasks the Value RAM will likely be fine...To be honest though, I'd go for a brand like OCZ or at the very least Kingston Value RAM just because you don't know what hte fail rates of the other brands might be. Given the option I'd rather pay a bit more for RAM that will last 6 years then save a bit and get RAM that dies in 2 months. It would likely be fine though, your decision.

The PC will automatically downclock the 800 RAM to 667 speeds to match your other RAM.
