Yeah I was talking about Vengeance. I bought it anyway as I figured I really should try one of the main series at some point. Will be a while before I get to it though as I’ve bought way too many rpgs in the last few weeks. -
Shin Megami Tensei focuses less on characters, and more on philosophical outlooks. They tend to be interesting in that regard, but it is a lot lighter, because as you said, the gameplay is the main focus. And I'm wondering, when you say it's cheaper, are you referring to Shin Megami Tensei V, or Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance? Because Vengeance is the "Persona 5 Royal" version. More stuff, extra story route. Unless you're me, who already played the original, you're likely gonna get more out of Vengeance. -
Out of curiosity. Is your account the only one on his Switch? I'm just wondering if he unwittingly "beat you to the punch" and loaded a game on your account before you downloaded the update on your Switch?

I was going to say the same thing, my memories were that a lot of the games we've seen in this thread so far were at-least a year into the consoles life, its quite incredible what a first year the gamecube had
