D_prOdigy Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Quarantine Loved it! Bloody scary! A very decent horror movie for once. Definitely getting it on DVD. 8/10 I don't understand why anyone would go and pay to see this while REC is perfectly affordable on DVD.
Chris the great Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 I don't understand why anyone would go and pay to see this while REC is perfectly affordable on DVD. some people dont like subtitles. the cretins.
Nolan Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 some people dont like subtitles. the cretins. D: Those crazy people, I put subtitles on whenever I can, english or not.
Cube Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 some people dont like subtitles. the cretins. I generally hate subtitles. They were fine for [REC] and Pan's Labyrinth, though.
EEVILMURRAY Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Jurassic Park II Not as good as the first, but a nice pr0 film nonetheless. Having the t-rex shit on everyone was a nice touch. Eight Shabba's
Beast Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Quarantine WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP! I'm sorry if people think this is great but it was a load of crap. I saw this before I saw REC and I thought REC was a LOT better. Wouldn't advise it to anyone, it's an insult nearly. 2/10 Four brothers A great movie, something everyone should see. It was brilliant, loved every minute of it. Something I'm definitely going to get on DVD (saw it on Film4 last night) 8.5/10 Zack and Miri make a porno Great cast, hilarious story, it was just fantastic. Loved it, gonna see it again when I can. 8/10 This is England (again) Still fantastic. One of the best British movies ever made. 8/10 Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa I liked it, not the best animated movie I've ever seen (that would be Wall.E or Toy Story) but it is better than the first one. 6/10

I saw this before I saw REC and I thought REC was a LOT better. Wouldn't advise it to anyone, it's an insult nearly. Wait, you saw a shot for shot remake first, hated it, then watched the original and liked it? Quarantine really isn't a bad film, it can't be because it's almost a carbon copy. I enjoyed them both.
Coolness Bears Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 The Reaping It was alright. bit of an odd and confusing film, something about a devil child but it is always hilarious to see a cow going mental. :p 3 Bears out of 7.
Konfucius Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Zack and Miri make a Porno Beginning and ending were typical standard comedy stuff but everything in between was quite different and very funny. I didn't expect it to be so "graphical" but was pleasantly surprised :P 7.5/10
Ashley Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Wait, you saw a shot for shot remake first, hated it, then watched the original and liked it? Quarantine really isn't a bad film, it can't be because it's almost a carbon copy. I enjoyed them both. Its not shot for shot is it? (from what I hear anyway)
triforce_keeper Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Aladdin I love this movie so much, brought back memories :') Robin Williams as the genie is brilliant. Not much more to say other than this is a masterpeice. 10/10
Iun Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 ... went from a comedy, to weird, to lovey-dovey, to just having cock in it. Sounds worryingly like my Fridays... Ocean's Twelve Err... what was the point? It was barely interesting, infrequently funny and the whole thing was too tired. Too much emphasis on the coolness of Rusty and not enough plot development until the final 10 minutes. 3 out of 10
Nolan Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 The Princess Bride It has everything but the sci-fi. 10/10
Beast Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Wait, you saw a shot for shot remake first, hated it, then watched the original and liked it? Quarantine really isn't a bad film, it can't be because it's almost a carbon copy. I enjoyed them both. The acting was much better in REC, it was more scarier as well. Quarantine's acting wasn't great. Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring My favourite LotR movie 8/10 Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers It was quite good, enjoyable. 8/10 Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King It's a great movie but it went on for too long, lol. 7/10
gARYgREATIE* Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Jurassic Park II Not as good as the first, but a nice pr0 film nonetheless. Having the t-rex shit on everyone was a nice touch. Eight Shabba's I really liked The Lost World, not as much of an impact as the first film but wisely they shifted the emphasis onto the best character in the first film. Goldblum is amazing, and the t-rex is awesome.
ReZourceman Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Agreed. I really love Jeff Goldblum. And The Lost World. I liked JP3 also....in fact....this is deja vu, we've had this convo on here and people weren't impressed with the fact that I like JP3.
gARYgREATIE* Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 It was pretty cool, I liked the whole phone ringing in the dinosaur, and it had william h macy. Not quite as cool as the first two tho. I can't wait for Jurassic Park 4
ReZourceman Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Exactly yeah, not as good as the others, but William H Macy, urgo ipso = made of epic whinz.
Nolan Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Exactly yeah, not as good as the others, but William H Macy, urgo ipso = made of epic whinz. ergo? ipso facto? Anyways, I agree William H. Macy is made of win. Sam Neill isn't too bad either.
Molly Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Haha, you can blame me for 'urgo ipso', I was teaching him some every day latin phrases that people use in conversation. ReZ has interpreted them in his own special way.
ReZourceman Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 "urgo ipso" is a famous Latin/Forgue expression. It means "basically" or "at the end of the day."
Nolan Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I've just never heard ergo ipso, nor seen ergo spelt urgo. I've heard ipso facto though.
ReZourceman Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 I've just never heard ergo ipso, nor seen ergo spelt urgo. I've heard ipso facto though. (As Molly said, I interpreted it in my own special way. And then gave it a history, and fake origin)
Nolan Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 yea......I guess that's your thing seeing as how that post is in Parenthesis with no need of them at all.
