arnold Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I'm just wondering where the best places are to buy tshirts, be it funny ones, video game ones or just random ones, I'm thinking of buying a few and the places i've been don't really have a lot, manily looking for something nintendo like, or Katamari Damacy type Tshirts but anything will do really, was just wondering if anyone had any sites where to purchase from?
Blackfox Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 http://www.threadless.com I sometimes just buy my tees from Topman (2 for a tenner) or from TKMaxx. I hate being a poor student.
Fields Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Personally I wouldn't be seen dead in a Nintendo t-shirt.
Mr_Odwin Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 But posting on a Nintendo forum is coooooel.
AshMat Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I've got a few good shirts from TkMaxx lately, it's a good shop, despite being cheap.
The3rdChildren Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I work with a guy who collects amusing t-shirts. He's always wearing a new one whenever I see him. However he's never revealed where they all come from, so really this post isn't any help at all.
Mr_Odwin Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 To contribute to the thread, I buy most of my t-shirts from H&M. They generally do just the style that I like.
Domo Kun Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Well I recommend American Apperel on Carnaby Street (right at the end). It sells nice, plain, SWEAT SHOP FREE MADE IN LA T-shirts. Bit pricey, but you can't complain and you won't feel guilty after buying it.
EEVILMURRAY Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 shocktees.com or .co.uk was where I got a few classic shirts, such as the timeless "I poke badgers with spoons" shirt and the Rolf Harris respect massive "On the sixth day he created"
Charlie Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Topman and TK Maxx are good. I get a 10% discount in there because I have a Young Scot card. TK Maxx just have loads of cheap stuff, some it's actually pretty decent.
Bren Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Tk maxx is wel gud when you go on the right day, you can get so much nice stuff, but sometimes you go and theirs fuck all you like. One day they have phat farm nxt day its sum tracksuit shite
Ashley Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 The top im wearing at the moment is TK Maxx. Nice white short sleeved dealy with a kinda worn red pic of Micky Mouse and the word "Tokyo" over the top of it. However theres an ex who works there so its awkward to go back. As far as the rest of my clothes: Topman, Burtons, Next, H&M, ASOS and then random shops.
DiemetriX Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 my fav is offcourse http://www.redx.moo.no :P

The thing I don't like about TKMaxx is the fact it's totally random, there's pretty much no structure to what's being put out bar men, women, children, etc. Or at least in the one near me. For proper TKMaxx shoppage you need mega eagle eye skillz, I employed my Sharingan abilities and came out of TKMaxx with a fantastic Tom Selleck T-shirt. It did cost £15 which for me is a little steep for a T-shirt [being one of those people who don't spend £90 on one just because it has some cock's name on it, instantly upping the price] but for the Magnum, it deserved it.

Lammie Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Yeah Threadless rocks. Great for buying designer geek stuff (designer as in an arty bloke who designs, not 'designer brand'). Just got the 'Best Mime Ever' shirt in the post.
