Merry Christmas N-Ers! Anyone doing anything fun or got anything good? 

I'm off to my girlfriend's family this Christmas (I get on with them better than my own family) so we did our presents early. 

I got some more Banjo-Kazooie transformation figures to complete my collection of regular transformations (I know there also adult T-Rex and Dragon Kazooie). Plus an N64 logo transformation.

 

 

I also got a Japanese snack box

And Echoes of Wisdom.

I think it's more that he won't be in one place on Christmas Day, so he got the presents from that place today.

We're heading to visit family later today and staying over untill boxing day, and there's five of us going in one car. So we decided to open stuff early so there is less to take. Ollie had had most of his as well (although he prefers my Banjo models, I had to show him the game as he wanted to know more about them).

I decided to get away from the family of it it all went I'm currently sat in a bar looking at Lake Como.

My plan for tomorrow is to go for a walk around the lake and then the traditional Christmas dinner of...pasta (can't be bothered to cook much more than that). 

Did the family thing on Sunday which was fine but better than Christmas because I could come and go in the day (I don't drive and no local public transport 25/26th).

I’ve spent today making a huge amount of stuffing, pigs in blankets and prepping a Turkey for tomorrow’s dinner. We still have a load of wrapping to do but I’d say we’re far more ready than we usually are at this point. We’ve got some oven snacks for dinner tonight so hopefully fairly easy way to finish up the day. My parents are already here until Friday and my sister and her boyfriend come tomorrow for the day. 

Thank god I’ve got two weeks of work to recover from it all.

My tradition of watching The Muppets Christmas Carol continues (13 years in a row) after just finishing it just now. Still the best version ever.

Christmas Day will be spent with family, presents in the morning, big Christmas dinner, and then nibbles and finger food later in the evening.

Somehow, I'm not surprised someone's made a Kecleon style shirt. Very much appreciated. I have too many actually stylish Pokémon themed shirts anyway.

Omori never bloody goes on sale! So it's nice to not have to pay full price for it. It's the American version, because a European physical copy doesn't exist.
Hard to tell from the picture, but that particular Kecleon plushie is based on the Mystery Dungeon one. I know that because the tag says "Kecleon (Little Brother)".
And yes, I do have the older brother one, it's purple, so I've got a set now!

The cardboard box behind them contains a ridiculous amount of sweets that will last me for a good long while!

But the best gift? Amazingly enough, it's from @Dcubed. He's not even responsible for the gag gifts this year!

"A GameCube controller? That's it?" Ah, but it's no normal GameCube controller. Notice the lack of wires?

Dcubed fiddled with it, and this is now a GameCube Controller, with Bluetooth capabilities! So it can be used on a Switch!
No longer do I have to choose between wireless or rumble!
And he also included a bluetooth receiver that you can plug into a Gamecube/Wii's contoller port, so it works on those consoles too!

Naturally, this will make me unbeatable at Smash! Sorry, everyone else who plays with me.

Watched it for the first time as our Christmas Eve movie last night. It was good & our daughter loved it too!

The main present I got was the Ghostbusters Trap and PKE meter, which we didn't think would arrive this side of Christmas:

The build quality on these are pretty amazing and they seem to have a lot of random features, some hidden, to mess around with. A fun feature with the PKE meter is they put a real working electromagnetic field meter in it, so any time you go near anything electric it starts lighting up and making noises.

Had a good haul of stuff.

four Lego sets I've been after, The Senna MP4/4 is one I've wanted for a while and the girlfriend came through with it, she's awesome.

And then lots of other little bits. Love the Stitch set of cuddly toys from my girlfriend's daughter. That's a 2025 AC calendar back there. Also not pictured are the usual set of bath and shower cleaning stuff that everyone seems to get.

Wish I knew about this earlier, didn't find out until the Kickstarter thing ended. Will they do another run/general release? I really want the trap.

Officially, Hasbro say these are a one off thing, but they released the Proton pack a couple of years ago with a similar kickstarter type campaign and also also said that once its gone its gone, but then randomly a year later they started selling them:

So there is always a chance it will happen again with the Trap. Quite a few people are selling them on ebay right now too but at double the price =/

Personally I don't think they should have released the trap and pke meter through a kickstarter as Hasbro knew there was enough of a demand for them because of how successful the protonpack was, so I think they could have just released it normally.

Nice you got the Lego Ecto 1 though, I want to get that too at some point if I can find one lol
