Dog-amoto Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I consider myself a bit of a film buff, but was shocked to find I'd only watched a pitiful 90/250 of the films on this list. I know there's a few foreign ones on there I'll probably never watch, but I expected I'd do better. Answer as honestly as you can, how many have you seen? Who will be N-E's biggest film buff? Not me, that's for sure! http://www.250films.net/list/
Ellmeister Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I don't watch a lot of films, though wish I did watch more. 52/250 :p Terrible

Daft Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I've only seen 122/250. That list reminded me of a few films I need to catch up on, like M. Been meaning to see that for a while now. There are other real big ones I've managed to avoid like Scarface and Rocky.
EddieColeslaw Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 40/250. My refusal to watch war movies will forever hurt my score...
Magnus Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 40/250. My refusal to watch war movies will forever hurt my score... Heh, I thought for sure I'd have the lowest score with 42.
Magnus Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I win. 35. Well, you're Norwegian, so it's understandable. The DVD player probably hasn't made its way to Norway yet.
Cube Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Well, you're Norwegian, so it's understandable. The DVD player probably hasn't made its way to Norway yet. Don't confuse him. He's expecting his Betamax any day now.
Paj! Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 88. But then I've started to fill in my gaps of late, with so many to fill.
Daft Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Really didn't expect the score I got to be one of the high ones.
heroicjanitor Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I win. 35. Kinda don't want to say I got 34 now, seems like one-upmanship :p
Sprout Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 ... 14. The majority of those being Disney/Pixar films. =P The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Forrest Gump Toy Story 3 WALL·E Up Snatch The Lion King Toy Story The Kid Finding Nemo The Incredibles Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Monsters Inc Beauty and the Beast
Zell Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I'm pretty ashamed at myself for some of the films I haven't seen. But that list will hopefully give me some incentive to fill in my gaps. I got 71 by the way, so maybe I should set my sights for 100 by year's end.
Mundi Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I got 86, which is much higher compared to most of you. I thought I would be below average statistically. Especially since I only watch films every other week or so.
Magnus Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 ... 14. The majority of those being Disney/Pixar films. =P Haha, those made up about half of the movies I'd watched on the list.
LegoMan1031 Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I got 53/250... Although that list has reminded me of some films which i had been meaning to watch but forgotten about!
McPhee Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 118. Can't get much higher without taking a liking to foreign or classic cinema. Is it just me that thinks some of the films on that list are crap?
Nolan Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 (edited) I don't know and I don't care. And I'm sure I disagrre wit hplenty of the list. 92/250 and I actua;lly like the list and there are many I want to see but have't yet. NOt enough Pizxar too much Incredibles on that list though.... Any Incredibles on that list is a bad thing. I've only not seen 2 of the top 10 though....but I always head that part 2 of The godfather was pretty crappy compared to the 1st. 3rd ediot I'm surpsied at some of the low numbers in this thread. Edited April 19, 2011 by Nolan
jayseven Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 144, with 3 that i didn't check that i wasn't sure of. Basically anything pre-50s i've not seen. Now bad! (braveheart's one of the 250 best movies of all time? No.)
