Gotta play some Smash the night before brah : peace:

Dude you just want an excuse to slap down your gigantic smash wang. I'm fucking awful at it. We gotta do SF3 as well. I've got two arcade sticks and a thesaurus full of abuse.

Hopefully @Dyson can make it too.

Didn't know which thread to put this in...

Was running for my train this morning whilst looking at my phone at the same time. I wasn't looking where I was going and then bumped into this bloke.

His red brief case/box when flying across the platform. He just stumbled and I apologised instantly.

I then realised that it was Nick Clegg! Surprised that special branch didn't come swooping down.

I wanted to ask for a selfie but thought i'd be pushing my look.

If we had a reputation system, I'd neg you for not punching the twat in the balls. So, the brief case went flying, eh? See how poorly he has a grip on things.

@Goron_3 just wants someone he can beat - he's getting tired of me thrashing him at Project M.

It's cool you're coming to the meet, missed your presence last year. Would be up for another round of drunken shenanigans.

Had an amazing day yesterday :)

From noon 'til the early morning my friend-with-benefits, her friends and me spent time in Cologne at the Rhine.

The weather was awesome. Sunny and warm.

And there was an awesome event. "Cologne Lights". At half past 12 we watched a 25-minute firework(s?). It was beautiful.

I met a couple of new people. Most of them are really cool. :)

Good times. :D

I created a new logo for FRUK and I'm actually really happy with it. I'm actively trying to improve my photoshop skills, coding and general internet knowledge. Jack of all trades, master of none. Also "ReZourceman" hit 499 subs before it was deleted, meaning 500 is not only a good milestone in YouTube terms but also a very big milestone in personal terms to me, and I am closing in on it right now - should get it within the coming days/this week (unless bad things happen). Pretty happy. But tired....put a lot of work into stuff the last 48 hours.

Just managed to pick up 2 tickets for the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony tomorrow night for £20 each. The tickets are restricted view but having experienced that at Celtic Park it didn't affect what you see on the pitch that much during a game, I expect during something like this it would be even less.

I've been into town with one of my friends from work and had a great time. We went back to his place and had a nosey as he's made some changes (new kitchen, garden done up). 'Mirin. Bastard has got a lovely 10, aesthetic kitchen, dat garden furniture, bathroom smells like a perfume factory, the lot. When will it be my turn?

I got Halo Wars for £2 and Halo Reach for £1

My contract may be moved from 16 hours to 30 hours (although they did say they're not promising anything).

I've lost weight again.

A couple of girls have messaged me on a dating site.

I'm chocolate sexiness.

My life's going good right now! haha :D

I'm not surprised that you love me because, y'know, everyone does but I still hate you! :p

Jokes, I loves you all! : peace:

Got back from my trip to Edinburgh yesterday. A breakdown of the trip is in order I reckon.

Friday

Picked up the Chevrolet Spark from the rental company. A surprisingly nippy and comfortable car considering it was the cheapest option. I tried to drive the Chevy to the levy, but I realised I had no idea what a levy was, so I went home instead and packed.

Saturday

Up at the obscenely early time of 4am to get ready to head off at 5. 6 reasonably quick hours later we were in Scotland. From the moment we crossed the border to the outskirts of Edinburgh, the scenery was incredible. It was like being in the front cover of a porridge box. Pretty much hills for as far as the eye could see the whole way. No villages, no towns, just pure countryside with the odd single house or farm dotted around. Stunning.

Met up with my other half's brothers, then waited for her dads to arrive. Was a bit nervous about meeting them, but they both turned out to be awesome.

Went back to Maddie's uncle's house after that to unpack etc. Turns out the uncle is pretty rich. The house was a former care home that had been converted to a 7 bedroom house (with 2 living rooms, just in case you got tired on the way from the kitchen to the main living room). If I had to guess, I'd say the houses value was well above a million. Mental stuff.

Didn't do much in the evening as we were all knackered.

Sunday

The plan for today was a pub meal, with my other half's grandparents joining us. I was on taxi duty, seeing as the people we were staying with were off to London to see a show and I was the only one left with a car. Me and my potential father in law went alone to collect the grandparents. Luckily, there were no "So you're boning my daughter" moments. Got to know him a bit better, which was nice.

Went for an awesome meal, then me and one of the brothers dropped the grandparents off. I discovered that the grandmother is an obscenely talented painter.

Other than that, a pretty quiet day. Walked around Arthur's Seat in the evening, but nothing too strenuous.

Monday

The aunt and uncle came back today, but were back at work, so us visitors did tourist stuff and went to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Just managed to catch the 1 'o' clock gun and the changing of the guards.

Nothing massively eventful happened, so I'll let the photos do the talking.

Tuesday

More touristy stuff, as we took a bus tour and went up the ferris wheel that was on Princes Street for some reason.

Had to be back earlyish though, as the grandparents were round again in the evening for a joint birthday party. I was drafted in as event photographer, which was pretty good fun actually as it gave me more reason to interact with people and get to know the family a bit better, including 2 more cousins that showed up for the evening.

Wednesday

The aunt and uncle had the day off work, so they joined us. We went to the Edinburgh Dungeons, since they hadn't done it before and we all wanted to go.

In the first room, which was a courtroom, we pretty much were the only group to get picked on. My other half's stepdad got accused of the heinous crime of crossdressing, which was obviously brilliant and totally stuck for the rest of the trip, whereas me, my other half and her aunt got accused of fashion crimes. The judge was obviously wrong though, as I looked fabulous.

One of the brothers got picked on by one of the female actors, further cementing his reputation as a ladies man. The stepdad managed a rather loud "FUCK" in full earshot of some kids as we went on the hanging ride. General hilarity was had all round really.

Me and the other half went for a walk on our own around Edinburgh in the afternoon. We were walking near a shopping centre when I spotted a GTAV display in an office window. I thought it was odd, then I remembered that Rockstar North was based in Scotland. A little investigating later, we figured out we were stood outside Rockstar Norths' offices. I fanboyed a bit...

Went for a Chinese in the evening, which was also rather nice. Had a nice chat with the stepdad throughout the meal and during the walk back. I think I've charmed my way into the family quite nicely.

Not really many photos, as cameras weren't allowed in the dungeons.

Thursday

The last day of our trip. The family all left at around midday, so me and the other half were able to explore Edinburgh on our own. Just had a wander and picked up some last minute sevenirs and spent the last of our Scottish money (it's a right bugger to spend in England due to people not realising it's legal tender here too). I ended up buying a Minecraft Creeper figure thing and the other half bought a tartan throw.

We set off at around 6 with the aim to be home by midnight. That wasn't to be as the M6 was closed at 2 places. One was due to 2 lorries coliding, spilling cement powder and diesel all over the motorway, which mixed, forming a sludgy, slippy sustance. The other was due to pieces of a bridge falling onto traffic. In the end, we got home at between 3 and 4am.

And that was pretty much it. I forget which day these photos were taken, so I'll make a misc section.
