Daily Mail says: "Don't play games around dogs else you'll lose your face"

British tabloid the Daily Mail has highlighted the dangers of Nintendo's pet sim Nintendogs, following an animal attack on a 9-year-old girl.

Megan Walker was mauled by Saracen, a bull mastiff, while playing the game at a friend's house. The dog dragged Megan from the sofa and sank its teeth into the girl's face, removing her lip.

The Daily Mail attributes the attack to the sounds of barking emanating from Megan's DS "game station" during a bout of Nintendogs.

The girl's grandmother, Jean Taylor, told the paper, "I think this game should carry some kind of warning. People should be told not to play it when there are dogs in the room. I blame the game for what happened to Megan. If they hadn't been playing it I don't think the dog would have gone for her."

The Daily Mail concludes that the friend's mother was unavailable for comment, but "it is understood that she told police that Megan may have kicked Saracen and that is why he attacked her".

So...Daily Mail ignores the fact that the girl kicked the dog and just blames video games.

Oh Daily Mail...you so crazy

Besides if you know anything about dogs, you should know they go a bit crazy when they hear other dogs bark (or cats meow). I know my dog does, she gets all excited. We do it to tease her too (we're so bad).

But yeah, blaming the game is easy.

Oh my God, I saw that and instantly knew there was going to be more to the story than a girl playing Nintendogs on the DS. They left out the part where the girl actually kicked the dog in the face and that the dog wasn't properly trained but hey, that's Nintendo's fault.

Silly Daily Mail! I bet there's loads of people out there who want to ban video games now. Plus why did the friend's mom have an untrained dog who could be potentially dangerous around their kids? Why weren't the friend's parents watching over them?

I love how they said the dog was DESTROOOOYED! Why weren't it just put down? lol.

You know, ciagrettes are dangerous. They should carry a warning not to light them up near explosive gases, ReZ's farts, flammable liquids, or a room full of gas leak. Someone could blow their house or even worse their face up, and it would be all cigarettes fault! Fuck the cancer, cigarettes are a serious health risk, and I think there should be more awareness of this matter!
