MoogleViper Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Due to the alphabet being in a certain order, does that make H better than 3/4G? Since when has B been better than A?
bob Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 I think it goes: G - the worst e - not bad 3G - good H - the best 4G - even betterer (G is short for GPSRA or soemthing, while H is HSPA (high speed packet access). Nothing to do with the alphabet. Other than i just used the alphabet to write it.)
Cube Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 (edited) G - the worst e - not bad 2G - slow 3G - good (3Mbps) H - the best HSPA+ - even betterer (6Mbps) DC-HSDPA - even more betterer (12Mbps) 4G - even more betterer still (14Mbps) Speeds are realistic speeds rather than theoretical speeds - but I've seen tests of around 20Mbps for both DC-HSDPA and LTE/4G. Now compare: 3 DC-HSDPA (12Mbps) - £12.90 a month. Unlimited data (tethering included). Rolling monthly contract. EE LTE (14Mbps) - £36 a month. 500MB data. 24 month contrsct. EEVILMURRAY Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Since when has B been better than A? No idea, I was just wondering if the H+ I've been having on my phone was better.
bob Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 I've only ever gotten G, 3G, E and H+ on my phone. Didn't realise there were that many!
Cube Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 I think all the H ones are under the same icon.

MoogleViper Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Not technically bought as I got them for my birthday. But it was bought by somebody (my parents).
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Not technically bought as I got them for my birthday. But it was bought by somebody (my parents). You mean birthday presents aren't made by Santa?!
Ashley Posted November 16, 2012 Author Posted November 16, 2012 A similar book by the same author was recommended at a talk I went to yesterday, but this seemed more suited for me.
Ike Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Preparing for Wii U: Numchuck. Cost me 340. 1TB External Drive. So much space... Not Wii U related: 256GB SSD. £99 from Amazon's Black Friday deals. Kind of an impulse buy really :/
Mokong Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Preparing for Wii U: Numchuck. Cost me 340.:bowdown:
bryanee Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 After cancelling my Wii U and games I had some cash to spend so. Awful fucking cover Got spec ops with shopto bonus points RE6 for under 15 quid thanks to Black Friday deal Pre-ordered and paid for
Shorty Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Because I regretted selling it when I was younger and it was on ebay for a few quid, to restore to my collection: I also bought this So that I could finally plug in all of these!
bryanee Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 MOOOOOOAR STUFF I've bought this before but due to an accident it kinda got fudged up. Even with the piss poor final season and the worst finale ever I still enjoy watching the other seasons.
MoogleViper Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 How much was the pine cone? I'll sell you one for a tenner, delivered.
bryanee Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 How much was the pine cone? £31, a tad much but it did come with a blu-ray set for free which was nice.
Sheikah Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Have you tried walking into a bonfire with it yet?
MoogleViper Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 For some reason I thought that was a Harry Potter set, and thought, "Well that must be a dragon egg in the middle". Then I realised it was GoT and could work out what it was supposed to be. Not my proudest moment.
Emerald Emblem Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 God damn, I really need to start getting through this monster backlog.
Strider Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 This - for my brother for Christmas. He better be grateful because I want it. Also this: Because me and the girlfriend have been watching Great british bake off and have been inspired to make tasty treats. Currently we only bake brownies and cookies, but I think it's time for something a bit more unusual. and this: Gaskets for my car. Probably the most boring purchase of my life.
