Ashley Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Mormons are cool five!Anyone? Hello? Anyone? I love Mormons. Can they be my guilty pleasure? (although when they came to our student house we did sort of give them the impression it was a house of Sodom....) I like McFly, as mentioned in the thread. Its daft but its fun and most of the time doesn't pretend to be something else. Ummm...Gossip Girl? But I watch that for the visual porn (NYC) and will probably give up after the Paris episodes. I used to enjoy that awful Sky1 show Mile High. Partially because it was so awful.
darksnowman Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I like Batman Forever a lot. There, I said it!
Dan_Dare Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I like Roy Orbison and think he has the most amazing voice. But I'm not ashamed of that. He does. Truth. 'I Drove All Night' is an amazing track.
Murr Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I've read and enjoyed the Twilight Books, I'm reading and enjoying the True Blood / Sookie Stackhouse Series. Aswell as like heavy music ( i cant really categorize it, i like Machine Head through to Madina Lake, Slayer through to Story of the Year) I also REALLY Like Trance music. I Like Transformers Revenge of the fallen. I LOVE the Fast and Furios movies
Beast Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I absolutely love cheesy pop songs, like those by Smile.dk. An example: Audio Heck, I like a lot of music that I would get beaten up by bullies for. I read Virginia Andrews and Stephanie Meyer books. And there's a Celine Dion album i really like. Glee. As you may all be aware. I like watching the Harry Potter movies. Sometimes admitting that I like Lady Gaga makes me feel a little ashamed. No matter how much you think that she is mainstream I often get funny looks regardless. I've read and enjoyed the Twilight Books, I'm reading and enjoying the True Blood / Sookie Stackhouse Series. Aswell as like heavy music ( i cant really categorize it, i like Machine Head through to Madina Lake, Slayer through to Story of the Year) I also REALLY Like Trance music. I LOVE the Fast and Furios movies Uh.....pretty much listed here....I love musicals but other than that, refer to what these people have said (although with Pancake about Celine Dion, I only like 3 of her songs a lot), lmao. I don't feel guilty about it though, although others would, haha.
darksnowman Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 And Backstreet Boys, haha. As far as boy bands go, I like em and went to see them in concert last Novemberish. I also like Grey's Anatomy.
nightwolf Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 My friend continuously likes to remind me of mine: - I like the stephanie meyers books - yes twilight. - I wear ugg boots, cheap ones. But I still do wear them in the winter. - I watch gilmore girls, I love it! I'm also a massive linkin park, papa roach and p!nk fan..have been since I was young..eek!
mcj metroid Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 i enjoy watching the x factor.. I even created the thread about it.. sigh

I'm starting to like this thread, and here's me thinking I was the only one who likes Twilight! haha. I don't see nothing wrong with being a fan of Linkin Park or Papa Roach though...maybe P!nk nowaday though, her songs have gone seriously bad now except for Bad Influence, I love that song.
nekunando Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 And Backstreet Boys, haha. As far as boy bands go, I like em and went to see them in concert last Novemberish.. ..dude.. ............dude You kept that one quiet I didn't mind them that much a good few years ago.. but..... dude
dwarf Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Me and my best mate used to go to pub jukeboxes and stick I want it that way by the Backstreet Boys on 7 times in a row and then sit at a corner table with our shirts off. It was rad cause he was 6' 4 and 15 stone so nobody would give us shit. Now he's dead. I like Desperate Housewives.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 i enjoy watching the x factor.. I even created the thread about it.. sigh I'm not really interested in The X Factor. I'm a bit tired of the sensationalization of it. It's blown out of proportions for commercial reasons. However, I love watching Talent (the Danish version of America's Got Talent and the likes) where people display all sorts of different talents. Also, in Denmark, the judges on Talent are vastly more likable than the judges of The X Factor. They've gone more or less away from the classic roleset of judges and got three honest, but positive judges, and it's a hundred times more pleasant to watch. I, for one, never really liked watching the bad auditions and the berating of the deluded. Most often it just made me feel bad inside.
Wesley Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 You'd have never fitted in in Roman times. I hate X-Factor Talent Star Shows. It's so demeaning to those who take part.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 You'd have never fitted in in Roman times. I know. It's ironic, really. :p
Tilim Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I still love Aqua and even bought their "Greatest hits" that was released last year. e_e And I still like the 90's dance and pop music.
Caris Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I still love Aqua and even bought their "Greatest hits" that was released last year. e_eAnd I still like the 90's dance and pop music. You've just taken this thread to a whole new level.
Retro_Link Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 (edited) This was possible the first single I bought... Audio Edited August 24, 2010 by Retro_Link
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 You've just taken this thread to a whole new level. It's great, isn't it? I love Aqua and '90s pop music in general!
Beast Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 I still love Aqua and even bought their "Greatest hits" that was released last year. e_eAnd I still like the 90's dance and pop music. Me too. I love 80s and 90s music, I don't really like the music in the charts today much. Back To The 80s is a great track and I bought it when it was released. It's great, isn't it? I love Aqua and '90s pop music in general! High-fives go to you too, Dannyboy!
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Agreed, '80s music is brilliant as well! But that certainly ain't a guilty pleasure for me!
Beast Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Agreed, '80s music is brilliant as well! But that certainly ain't a guilty pleasure for me! I don't get why people do feel guilty about liking 80s and 90s music, it's better than most of the shite they do today! I mean, out of Martika or Ke$ha, I know who I'd pick, haha.

P!nk is still awesome, you should see how bad papa roach are now, they look kinda hideous these days too, but unfortunately I still love them anyway. Twilight kinda sucked me in, I managed to read them when I started uni just before massive hype hit, abit like harry potter, so I wasn't ashamed, now I kinda am because I'm not one of those die hard fans who pick a team. It seems ridiculous.
