Same thing, watching the time go in with family, except ++ alcohol. I was but a mere 13 year old in 1999 =P

This time a decade ago I had watched The Exorcist (I think) and I was with my mum and her boyfriend Jim at Jim's house. I almost certainly played Earthworm Jim, because Jim's hot daughter who was at uni had it, and I liked playing it.

 

I also went for a walk with them.

I was playing Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on my GameBoy Color at home.

Listening to Fat Boy Slim, Playing Pokemon Red and generally not annoying myself by having this stupid tendancy to try and disillusion everything by reducing it. I hate being old.

I remember being at home with my Mom and my Mom's boyfriend. That's all I can remember.

We were at my nan's. My good-for-nothing-now-disowned uncle ended up stealing stuff that night. Always fun. I remember my nan giving me some champagne and I refuted as I was 12 and considered it rubbish. Since then I have come to like it.

 

But yeah. That's what I was up to.

Lived in nottingham with the world at my feet. Set off a massive firework which went haywire and blew up nextdoors bedroom window (thankfully empty).

I think I was in exactly the same room as I was in this year (our lounge), with exactly the same people (my Mum and Step Dad). I think my Sister was in bed and the other two weren't born. I believe it was my first New Year in this house.

I was 12, and whilst I didn't expect the world to end. I was re-assuring myself that I would wake up in the morning.

Standing on top of a ridge overlooking Newcastle with my Dad and siblings. We always went up there each New Year to see if there were any fireworks - usually there were one or two in the far distance. At midnight the entire city erupted around us.

In Wales with the family. I was only 10 at the time. Can't really remember much but I know for certain I was in Wales and I was ten years old.

I was rather young. I think I was just sitting on my couch, watching fireworks from other places in the world. (9:12 here at time of posting).

I was 13 and at a restaurant with my parents and family friends, in a incredibly boring millennium party. I remember it so well, I'm feeling old.

I was...8. And so didn't really care/know. I was just at home, minding my own. I knew it was a big deal, and people being like "ooh! you've witnessed the turn of a century!" and vaguely aware of the term Y2K.
