Babooo Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Probably N64 but the 360 is coming a close 2nd. Absolutely loving the 360 and its brilliant games library. Will probably take over the N64 as my favourite console in a couple of years.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Deep pan pizza is shit, way too stodgy, thin crust is so much better. Gah, I prefer regular pizza to deep-pan, too. I just had to come up with something. In Denmark we say "X is the greastest thing since the deep plate" (like those you eat Corn Flakes from), but I don't know how it is in English. Deep-pan pizza just sounded cool.
MoogleViper Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 "X is the greastest thing since the deep plate" (like those you eat Corn Flakes from), but I don't know how it is in English. It's called a bowl. And we say, "X is the best thing since sliced bread."
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 It's called a bowl. And we say, "X is the best thing since sliced bread." Sliced bread! THAT'S it! I KNEW that I knew what is was! I had just forgotten. Oh, yeah, a bowl of course. What was I thinking?
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Deep plate. haha Well, that's what it's called in Denmark!
ipaul Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 I'm torn between the 360/N64 really. Can't decide between them two. Although a good mention would go to the Dreamcast as well, if only the Playstation 2 had not been around to slaughter it at the time.
weeyellowbloke Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Why is it nobody ever says Playstation? I'm going to say for me it was the Megadrive, still have good times with it.
mcj metroid Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Its the SNES! it IS the snes! i akso love ps1 ps2? fuck no
Cube Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I'd have to go with the N64. Second would be the Mega Drive.
mcj metroid Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Why is it nobody ever says Playstation? I'm going to say for me it was the Megadrive, still have good times with it. because most people thought the n64 was better which is SOOOOOOOO wasnt.
MoogleViper Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Why is it nobody ever says Playstation *ahem* . . . Dreamcast or the Playstation 1.
Wesley Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I had the most fun on my N64... but the 360 is becoming like that for me.
Domstercool Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Why is it nobody ever says Playstation? I'm going to say for me it was the Megadrive, still have good times with it. Well I do think the PS2 is better than the PSX, so I put that instead up there along with SNES and N64 :P The PSX was indeed excellent though.
Jav_NE Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 It's too soon to include current generation consoles in the contest, so for now its the N64. In five years time or so maybe we can judge and say whether the Wii, 360 or PS3 has bettered it.

In five years time or so maybe we can judge and say whether the Wii, 360 or PS3 has bettered it. Considering i've bought more 360 games in the last 3 years (48 arcade games, 40 something retail games) than i have on any console ever, i'd say the 360 has enough games on it to say its one of the best consoles of all time.
S.C.G Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Used to be N64 (17 games) Then it was GC (76 games) Now it's Xbox 360 (79 games) 36 retail - 42 arcade
Mundi Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Toss between Dreamcast and Sega Saturn. Had some great times on them.
Beast Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 My favourites are Dreamcast, Mega Drive and the Wii. I love all three of 'em and I still play them all today. I only played Disney's World of Illusion on Mega Drive the other day.

If Rare manage to get a few more of their N64 games (Banjo Tooie, Perfect Dark, Blast Corps and Jet Force Gemini) onto the XBLA, then I'd have to agree.
nightwolf Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Why is it nobody ever says Playstation? I'm going to say for me it was the Megadrive, still have good times with it. pssh I said the ps1! I remember my dad going to toys r us at midnight to grab one RAYMAN FTW!
ShadowV7 Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 I dunno. I'd say the N64 followed by the SNES. I think SNES would be ontop if it wasn't for me missing out on a lot games back then in my young ways so N64 wins. Though maybe Cube due to Tales of Symphonia(I couldn't resist),Metroids and the few good RPGs. Banjo Kazooie, Mario 64, Lylat Wars, Golden Eye. Great games, remember getting each and every one and my expressions and feelings as I started them up.
