Raining_again Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Wisdom tooth is pushing through more and it's giving me some problems. I had a root canal done about 18 months ago and I actually enjoyed the procedure, i couldnt feel a thing and it was fairly entertaining. My question is, how similar, in terms of pain, is the removal of a wisom tooth to a root canal procedure, just incase I have to get it done? What sort of sadist are you that enjoys a root filling - waaaht! It can get messy removing a wisdom tooth... Depends if/how rotten it is. And it can take time to heal too. A lot of people go for a removal rather than a root filling if its severe enough. Its also the chance of something going wrong in later years with a root filling as opposed to just getting the thing pulled. By the way - wisdom teeth will give you problems - mine were pretty horrendous coming in. Its not abnormal for that to happen because they grow in pushing against your teeth.
Guest Captain Falcon Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Well after my moaning yesterday, all feelings of discomfort seem to have gone astray. Maybe it was my talking about it that made me think about it more, and consequently feel it. It seemed to be getting worse and worse as the day went on and when I went out to play football in the evening, it's all I could think of. I intended to go the doctors this morning given how bad it was getting. But I woke this morning (just about morning anyway) and nothing - I don't feel a thing. Maybe I still have something wrong with me, and maybe it is psychological as well. Either way, I'm not complaining now.
Ganepark32 Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Not revising today. Have done hours upon hours of it through this week so I'm due a break from it. Got to play Grey's Anatomy on the Wii so I can review it. Not really looking forward to it as I'm not a fan of the show. Just sitting listening to music at the moment before I start on that. Tomorrow I'm going out to Edinburgh and I'll be taking a bunch of games to Cex to trade in as I'm in need of some cash. Anyone who has traded in at Cex, how does it work exactly? It says online that I need a full membership with Cex to get cash so is that something that can be sorted out while I trade in or what? And are the prices they state on their site representative of what they'll offer for each title in store? Just curious and don't really wanna look like a prat when there. Got like 16 or so games to trade (about 20 if I include the US titles I have which they say they accept in stores).
EEVILMURRAY Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I think I got offered a job yesterday. After eight hours of following this chap knocking on about 120 doors trying to convince people to register for a charity, using a terrible script I started hating him for. Especially when he said "You keeping warm in there?" when it was blistering hot. It seems to be some form of fast track management scheme, which starts bullshitting on commission. I think I'm going to give it a try, I'm sure I might be able to get my job back at the pub if I tell them to blow me.
Jimbob Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Its going to be a busy gaming month between now and end of May for myself. Tooie comes out on XBLA next week, and i still gotta beat Kazooie (ok, i'm on Rusty Bucket Bay so not far to go). I estimate i have 2-3 hours left on Kazooie. In other news..............., well there is nothing atm. Work is going fine atm, not sure how to describe the weather here. Its either sunny, windy or cloudy (or a mixture of all 3 atm). I can't decide to either put my shades on or my fleece when i go out for lunch.
Raining_again Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I went into town with teh magic buttons today ^___^ Now I have Sultana Bran. Fuck yeah \o/ Raining_again is happy. The end

Paj! Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 William Boyd, the successful author and screenwriter) came to talk to us both in assembly and then in foruth period. It was very interesting, as I love the idea of writing for page or screen (though I'm not good enough). I then got a bit of a telling-off/not really from my art teacher as I've done nothing of worth in my skethcbook for this 6 week unit, and the exam is on Wednesday through Friday.

Pantsu Man! Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I wonder when's the deadline to apply for loans and whatnot... should get round to doing that. My day has been filled with getting up at 12 and Internet surfing. I don't think I did any work. No I didn't. I did read a funny chapter of manga, another TTGL spinoff. Yeah. That's about it.
S.C.G Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 But but... it's NOT pyramid selling... There is one sure-fire way to find out if it is or not, as them flat-out 'Is this Pyramid selling?' then if they say 'No this is definitely NOT Pyramid selling' then you know that it is. :P
EEVILMURRAY Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I've had another banging fit today... Most likely blamed by my casino visit last night. The countdown continues again.
Wesley Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Just watched the new episode of the American Office; haven't laughed like that for a while.
Coolness Bears Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Today was great. It felt like a much more relaxed Friday maybe it was the sun! It put everyone in a good mood. Though I was a bit tired. :p Apple Turnover for dessert wins the day though!

S.C.G Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Today has been awful. I'm not going into detail, because i'm hated here. *hugs* I'm sorry to hear that Jordan, I may not speak for everyone but I can at least speak for myself and I think you're a decent guy, it's probably not much of a consolation but I just thought I'd put it out there... I really hope that things will start looking up for you soon.
