Watch Dogs 2 arrived this morning, just awaiting my pre-order DLC code to come through from Shopto, then i'll begin. Ubisoft announced a £30 season pass earlier this month, it's too bad much of the content they are offering is available via pre-ordered copies.

I got an order down, should be here tomorrow morning. It's strange, Shopto delivered Dishonored 2 a day early but the dispatch email for Watch Dogs 2 came today.

Been giving this a bash over the weekend, had a code for the 1st which i gave to a friend. I'm really enjoying it, chose to play as Corvo for my first play. Much the same as the previous in terms of what Corvo can do, but i feel it's right to finish his story. Arcane certainly made the enemies much smarter than before, which is a great challenge for those doing a stealth run.

Parents are away, however this isn't an issue. The issue lies with my sister, whom by 8pm last night i'd had an absolute guts full of her stinking attitude. I'll put it out, she does work as a chef so works different hours each week Had Sophie over the weekend, sister complained she was over. Sister complained that we woke her up at 12:30am Sunday morning (i'll give it a little bit, and apologized for that as we were coming in from a night out). But seeing as she was up as we were approaching the house........ She complained that we woke her at 8:30 and 9am Sunday, which to be fair we were getting up. She complained the TV was too loud at 10:30am (we were watching the Remembrance service on BBC). Mainly watching it as my Dad was doing the march past the Cenotaph. I did ask her when she finally got up at 1pm to keep the kitchen tidy, and couldn't even do that. Politely asked her if she's working today (so i can work out my getting up time for a shower) and she goes off on one by saying i never asked if Sophie was staying over, so she calls my parents to complain. I snapped at her as i couldn't take any more of her attitude. Basically told her i'm sick of her treating us all like crap, sick of her being a lazy person. She told me to get out, so i did. Packed a bag and went to Sophie's.

Best of luck everyone, we're all rooting for ya.

Episode 6 was brilliant, i'm gripped. This show is getting better and better.

It was (now that i look back on it). Already had a friend with a SNES, plus i fancied a change. Loved playing Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage and Ecco the Dolphin

One year, had to choose a Mega Drive or a SNES. Decided to go for a Mega Drive, no regrets.

Sorry for the double post Skyrim patch 1.03 released today, and it seems quite a few people (especially on the PS4) are having issues with the game crashing multiple times, virtually making the game unplayable at the moment.

I can't remember if it was the Gameboy or the NES that i had first, however i had them both in the same year. Had the NES with Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt, and the Gameboy came with Tetris and Super Mario Land. Had some fun times with both these consoles, still have the NES in the attic and it works still. The Gameboy however was lost in a flood, but Tetris still works. Since then, i've had (Nintendo-wise) Gameboy Color N64 Gameboy Advance GameCube Nintendo DS Wii Nintendo 3DS WiiU "New" Nintendo 3DS I'm thinking about getting a Switch, but will await more info before i consider a purchase.

1) What's your dream job? I wanted to follow my Grandfather into the line of Civil Engineering, and i did get that back in 2007. Worked for a Civil Engineering company called Mabey Bridge. Job was going well, i was training up in another aspect of the job. However, due to senior management making a monumental mess up, they had to make redundancies (one manager was laughing about it, seeing as his job was safe. He wasn't laughing when someone punched him in the office). The company hasn't been the same since, has never recovered and has closed all the Wales manufacturing and has scaled back drastically. The site i worked on was around over 100 years, and due to the management it's all gone. Management had to serve jail time for what happened. So yeah, did my dream job. Can't get another as i'd have to go back to college to get the qualifications updated. 2) What are you actually doing? Working as a Tax Professional Caseworker these days, it's fun. Had to work hard to get it, 3 1/2 years in a call center aspect of the company dealing with everyone whom was either nice or annoying as anything. Nearly left 2 years ago, but got this job i'm in now. My aim is to work in the Investigations area at some point down the line. 3) Did you ever envision yourself in what you're doing now? Nope, never. When i had my civil engineering job, i thought that would be it for me and i'd see it through to the end of my working life. Never dreamed of leaving and finding another job.

A new PS Store sale is now on, up to 35% off for non PS+ members and up to 70% off for PS+ members

There's a small issue with getting Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, you have to add it to your wishlist before adding it to the basket. For some reason, it's not letting you add it direct from the PS+ page at the moment.

Remember when the General Chit Chat section was always busy?
Jimbob replied to Happenstance's topic in General Chit Chat
It's certainly quieter, however i've noticed more chat has gone towards the gaming boards themselves these days. It's a lot of things, Mafia games were always active. As soon as one died, another began a few days later. Xpert Eleven was always an active topic in the forum games as well. And there was a regular forum telephone game about. It's down to a lot of things, one is we're older and don't have a lot of time for posting these days due to different responsibilities. Members have left for various reasons as well, for whatever reason they are is down to them. -
And with that, the VR Exclusive tracks release today with patch 1.28 https://twitter.com/PlayStationEU/status/793025569277505536

Spent the best part of an hour trying to regain access to my email account last night, some bugger had hacked it. Would have been quicker if the entire process didn't loop itself and gave me the correct page. Got it back, changed all the passwords just after 1am.

I want to delve in to Skyrim again, but i'll hang on a while. Seeing as i'm still plodding through Fallout 4, and have several other games on the go. Can usually only handle 1 big 100+ hour game at a time.

Here Razer Raiju Nacon Revolution Pro Controller

And also, making Zubats and Drowsee's even more frequent. Yay?

I think it should return, but something short like Microsoft have with the Xbox One and Sony have with the PS4. Something short, but still quite cheerful to hear as the console begins.

Postponing Great Games to Play Lesser Titles
Jimbob replied to nekunando's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I'm the sort of person whom will play a great game (like Witcher 3) for a while, put it on the shelf and come back weeks (if not months) later and finish it. Take Witcher 3 for an example. That came out May last year, i played it for about 2 1/2 weeks near-enough solid. But, for some reason i put it on the shelf as a "break". Didn't finish the bulk of the game until February 2016 (main game, all side-quests and Heart's of Stone). I returned to the game on my Christmas holidays, and played it each evening and 1/2 my free time solid for 6 weeks. Kind of wish i waited until Blood and Wine before playing, would have had the nice new menus and the more sleek inventory. Same goes for games like Skyrim, i enjoy them but i shelf them for a while. I've done the same in recent weeks with Fallout 4, Little Big Planet 3 and Bioshock. But i'll play other games like the numerous indie games, Nintendo games (i'm down to 2 WiiU games now (Yoshi's Woolly World and Twilight Princess)) and smaller titles. -
Our "friends" at GAME are charging £5 for a 10 minute PSVR demo at some stores.
-
Here's hoping it's a simple console, no silly gimmick and focuses on the games. The games that define Nintendo.

Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4/Xbox One - 26 October 2018)
Jimbob replied to Sheikah's topic in Other Consoles
Can see Red Dead online being similar to that of the original's multiplayer, a vast open world with players competing in various activities. Could also have bank robberies in different towns, something that was missing from the original. Who knows, either way i'm looking forward to it. That, and a nice new single player campaign with an epic story. -
Fancied a new controller, my current one is a little damaged after water spillage. Can't fault a new one for £36, considering most places don't sell sub £40
