  1. I do love a bit of gardening. When we first moved into the house i'm in now, the garden was overgrown and was full of builders rubble and debris from when the last owners built an extension. Took a few days to clear it, had some help from a mate. Had to rip out the old driveway from the back. Build a new area for a shed and laid some turf down. Got some raised beds from the earth we salvaged and put various plants in (including a tree). Garden looks nice now. Had to do some work on the front to, lifted the stone chippings and put turf down. Again, sorted the beds out and have some nice plants growing (both gardens have plants from the old house we lived in, the ones that hold sentimental value) Last year, we tried growing different vegetables. Managed to grow a tonne of tomatoes, runner beans and some potatoes. Didn't have much luck with growing strawberries, but did manage to grow 9 Peaches on a tree we bought. I'll post a picture online once i get home to show the garden.
  2. Time to book some time off for E3 as per usual. Still don't quite understand why Nintendo only seemingly want to show off Zelda only. E3 is a perfect time to reveal the NX.
  3. You sometimes get a game where you just don't want it to end because it's that good/breathtaking. Yeah, this is one of them games for me. Even though i've not completed it yet (i'm somewhat about 1/2 way through Chapter 12), it's a surefire contender for Game of the Year.
  4. Had a fantastic 9 days off, first time in a while i can actually say that (most of which i spent with the girlfriend).
  5. R.I.P MadDog Thoughts are with MadDog's family at this time. Honestly, i'm lost for words. His presence across N-Europe will certainly be missed, i do feel like there is a huge void which will never be filled. Such a nice person, and had a positive outlook.
  6. Had some money come in, so decided to clear out a few debts. So cleared my debt with the tax office, phone and my credit card. Debt free once again, boom.
  7. Started and finished Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception in preparation for Uncharted 4. Overall, not a bad game. Thought the final battle was easier than previous battles, however
  8. Finished Uncharted 3 earlier, now moving onto Uncharted 4. Looks blooming fantastic. Edit: And some screenshots (spoiler tagged)
  9. Had my order processing email earlier, don't mind if it doesn't arrive early (would be nice though)
  10. Me and Sophie had the chat a few weeks into dating (think we made it to the 4th date before talking about it), made ourselves exclusive at the end of March.
  11. Having a playthrough of Uncharted 3 this week, forgot i never played it. And luckily, got the whole of next week off. So between spending time with the Mrs, i'll be playing some Uncharted.
  12. Sweet, this will be my Christmas game (usually it's Assassin's Creed, but no main game coming this year). Looking forward to finding out more at E3.
  13. The standard beers you get in pubs, i'm certainly getting bored with. However, since @Mandalore started introducing me to different beers, i've certainly grown a taste to different ones. Have been (with him) to beer festivals and various pubs serving craft beers.
  14. I think i may have been overlooked for yet another project, 2nd time this may have happened*. The current project we're on is coming to an end, well it has ended it's just the occasional dregs of it coming through. So most days i've nothing to do. So when i heard of a new project, i inquired about it and heard the team i'm on would be getting it. So on an email on Friday, my name wasn't on the new project list and it was left on the dregs side. I mean, there's nothing on it to do. *1st time was November last year when we had a project came in, and i wasn't chosen as i had a "bad quality score". Yeah, this was only because the gits accused me of not doing any work and decided to put me through 6 months of pure workplace misery
  15. All prepped for Civil War, booked to see it tomorrow afternoon. First Avenger and Winter Soldier re-watched, i'm pumped now.
  16. Name: Nintendo NX (Home Console) & Nintendo NX Portable (Handheld) Graphical capability: equal to the PS4 (Home) & PSP Vita (Handheld) Controller style: 1 controller like the WiiU Pro (in design) for the home console, but has a mini-touch screen/pad like the PS4 controller. Keeping with Nintendo's style of being backwards compatible, the WiiU tablet would be compatible to allow the NX to play WiiU games with ease. The NX Portable would have the touch screens and be compatible with the home console NX. Would be backwards compatible with the 3DS, so has a card slot for these games to be played on the system. Fold-able like the 3DS so it can be carried around. The gimmick: Cross-buy and save between both the NX Home and Portable. Including VC games, which would work on both systems regardless. Hard drive size: Default would be a 500gb HDD which can easily be upgraded if required (similar to how it can be done with the PS4) Launch lineup: Zelda WiiU port, a new Pikmin, Animal Crossing NX and possibly whatever Retro is cooking up. 3rd party, expecting the usual Dance game and maybe whatever WiiU game Ubisoft had cooked up, but ported to the NX. And of course, a fully stocked Virtual Console (existing VC's on 3DS and WiiU updated to work on the NX consoles at launch) No. of Bundles available at launch: 1, which would be the Home and Portable bundled together. Both consoles sold separatly. Price: £299 (NX Home). £179 (NX Portable) and £399 (both Home and Portable). Each console bundled with 1 game and all necessary stuff to get things going (bar the plug for the Portable, existing 3DS charger cable compatible with console) Release date: March 2017 (probably March 17th)
  17. Made a start last night, completed Episode 1: Chrysalis
  18. All that's needed now is to get Serebii out of being single and with a nice woman. It's partly complete, then it's #MissionSerebii over.
  19. Been having a mooch on another popular gaming forum, seems that Amazon and an "un-named retailer" have broken street date by 2 weeks
  20. Another good weekend done and dusted (why do they go so quick). Met Sophie's parents, both loved me and think i'm the best thing to arrive into Sophie's life. Also met her grandparents, brother and various friends and family members over the course of the weekend.
  21. The Vue in Cwmbran has a VIP section in the middle, which was strange to see considering the cinema wasn't that big in comparison to others i've been to. Booked tickets to go to Cineworld, snagged the last 2 middle seats (well, the 2 in the area Sophie likes to sit). I'm not normally fussed, anywhere from the middle up is fine for me. Started warming up for Civil War, watched The First Avenger last night and plan to watch The Winter Soldier on Tuesday evening after work.
