  1. Let's put it this way, i was genuinely surprised the fish was still alive. The old filter was full of sludge. And the smell, urghhh. Bit of cleaning, changed the stones and a new filter. And the difference is so much better.
  2. Due out tomorrow, and still no idea on the pack price for the EU.
  3. Well, more so making some improvements by helping out Sophie a bit. Had a chat with her, basically her Mum does just about everything in the house. Any communication they have is via texting (bit lazy). Mentioned that she needs to stand up for herself a bit more, and get the apron strings cut as it were. So, we cleaned out her fish tank (which her Mum never let her clean, even though it's her fish). Last clean was 8 months ago, so we had to get a new filter. And we bought an iron, again not owned one in months. As for improvements myself, i'm looking at some ways i can improve.
  4. Wouldn't put it past them if it's matched ($20 = $20/£20). Would be a good price, i'd probably bite for that.
  5. Hope it's not too much, i might delve in if it's a reasonable price.
  6. If you've not played Journey, this is a perfect chance to play it.
  7. Adopted a penguin for Sophie's birthday, also got 2 tickets to the zoo included.
  8. I think it'll be basically F-Zero GX (which was damn perfect) with a few additions. Custom Cups Online multiplayer (a must, especially with voice chat) Design your own tracks Full reply and photo modes
  9. Well, i wouldn't go public about it. I'd have a few so called "friends" come out of hiding asking for money. I'd probably buy 2 or 3 houses, 1 for living in and the other 1 or 2 for renting out. Make a small amount of money each month from that. I wouldn't give up work for £1 million, but i'd certainly have enough in the pot to live well. I'd also up a few things, probably do each house out nice. I'd also get myself a nice car with any change left over.
  10. 2 games done this weekend, in Grow Home and ABZU Grow Home, i enjoyed it. Controls were simple, but sometimes i fell off and fell for some time. Usually as i was nearing a teleport point. But it was fun none the less ABZU, been meaning to play it. What a game, nice and simple and beautiful to look at. Reminds me a lot of Journey, Flow and Flower. These games i enjoy playing as a refresher from some of the high octane games available.

    Drive Club

    Now that looks impressive.
  12. Can't they just not do this.
  13. That's a pretty good remaster.
  14. Early access on the 6th, or wait a bit longer and it's free. Not too bad
  15. Excellent additions to the collection, some great value and plenty of gaming fun to be had.
  16. Folders finally. Otherwise, not a bad 4.00 update.
  17. I don't, as i mentioned it was a combo of not being able to get the time off and the fact i only get to see her at weekends. She happened to see the previous years snaps, and said if wanted to go this year i could.
  18. Sounds like it was a good meet for everyone. Again, apologies for not coming up this year. I'm certainly going to make the effort to come next year, with or without the Mrs in tow. Funny thing is, she said i could have gone. But decided to tell me at 3pm on Saturday
  19. Normally, i'd be there this weekend. However, i can't get the time off work. Plus the weekends the only time i can normally see the Mrs. She's already a bit miffed i'm going to EGX, doubt she'd love me going to London. Sorry chaps, giving this year a miss. Have a good meet.
  20. This is turning into one of the worst years. Like others have said, hadn't seen him post in a while. So thought nothing of it, but this news is shocking to say the least. R.I.P Yesteryeargames. You will be missed.
  21. Finished this earlier.
  22. The internet is always there these days, so going "on the internet" isn't a saying for me. It's mainly "check Google" or "Go on social media" The phrases "going on the internet, logging on etc" are 90's/early 2000's stuff. Mostly when we had the ol 56k connections. The ones where you had to basically cut the phone off to access online services. Where it was per minute costs, instead of a fixed price. It's quite frightening how many people have come to rely on smartphones, and keep looking at them over a face to face conversation. Yesterday, i saw a family get-together in my local. Everyone was looking at their phones instead of talking, and it wasn't for 5 minutes. I still prefer a face to face conversation, but i am prone to checking my phone on occasions. I do access the internet out and about, and it's readily available at home either via the PC/laptop or my phone. I think i'm in the generation that can still hold conversations, but yet has the technology for instant internet access whenever, wherever. You do see many younger people using phones consistently, and i do feel the art of the conversation is lost with them. On the subject though, today marks 10,000 days of the Internet.
  23. PlayStation store has a 60% Summer sale on.
  24. Hope Nintendo don't re-release all Virtual Console games, and expect everyone to pay again for the same games. Hopefully they'll be "updated" for free for everyone whom currently owns them. And have a full library available at launch. As for this idea of the NX, sounds interesting. However, i can't see it being portable. Would have to be a significant size if it's incorporating detachable controllers. If it's a hybrid design, maybe it lets you upload the game to a controller and it goes with you as a portable machine (like the Vita). I can't see the entire console being portable, especially if it's got 2 detachable controllers.
