Excellent additions to the collection, some great value and plenty of gaming fun to be had.

Folders finally. Otherwise, not a bad 4.00 update.

I don't, as i mentioned it was a combo of not being able to get the time off and the fact i only get to see her at weekends. She happened to see the previous years snaps, and said if wanted to go this year i could.

Sounds like it was a good meet for everyone. Again, apologies for not coming up this year. I'm certainly going to make the effort to come next year, with or without the Mrs in tow. Funny thing is, she said i could have gone. But decided to tell me at 3pm on Saturday

Normally, i'd be there this weekend. However, i can't get the time off work. Plus the weekends the only time i can normally see the Mrs. She's already a bit miffed i'm going to EGX, doubt she'd love me going to London. Sorry chaps, giving this year a miss. Have a good meet.

This is turning into one of the worst years. Like others have said, hadn't seen him post in a while. So thought nothing of it, but this news is shocking to say the least. R.I.P Yesteryeargames. You will be missed.

Talking about talking about the internet
Jimbob replied to dan-likes-trees's topic in General Chit Chat
The internet is always there these days, so going "on the internet" isn't a saying for me. It's mainly "check Google" or "Go on social media" The phrases "going on the internet, logging on etc" are 90's/early 2000's stuff. Mostly when we had the ol 56k connections. The ones where you had to basically cut the phone off to access online services. Where it was per minute costs, instead of a fixed price. It's quite frightening how many people have come to rely on smartphones, and keep looking at them over a face to face conversation. Yesterday, i saw a family get-together in my local. Everyone was looking at their phones instead of talking, and it wasn't for 5 minutes. I still prefer a face to face conversation, but i am prone to checking my phone on occasions. I do access the internet out and about, and it's readily available at home either via the PC/laptop or my phone. I think i'm in the generation that can still hold conversations, but yet has the technology for instant internet access whenever, wherever. You do see many younger people using phones consistently, and i do feel the art of the conversation is lost with them. On the subject though, today marks 10,000 days of the Internet. -

Hope Nintendo don't re-release all Virtual Console games, and expect everyone to pay again for the same games. Hopefully they'll be "updated" for free for everyone whom currently owns them. And have a full library available at launch. As for this idea of the NX, sounds interesting. However, i can't see it being portable. Would have to be a significant size if it's incorporating detachable controllers. If it's a hybrid design, maybe it lets you upload the game to a controller and it goes with you as a portable machine (like the Vita). I can't see the entire console being portable, especially if it's got 2 detachable controllers.

Looks great, looks like the Sonic we've been waiting for. And also a possible Generations 2, which i can't wait for.

Went to Weymouth last week on a weeks holiday, that the other 1/2 paid for. She decided to book it up as a present for my 30th birthday. Was a great week, definitely chose the right week weather-wise too (and right before the school holidays). Loved the entire week, perfect company and overall a great time. Did see a classic steam locomotive pulling into the station, and did visit several places on the trip away.

Went to Weymouth last week with the other 1/2 (surprise 30th present from her to me), was surprising to see so many Pokestops, Gyms and different types of Pokemon in comparison to where i normally play Go. Managed to add about 20 Pokemon, evolve 3 and conquer 2 gyms. Did catch a Dratini whilst there, much to the annoyance of a few kids whom were trying to catch it themselves.

Perfect nostalgia at Christmas, would be interested in what price Nintendo will sell it in the UK/EU.

Raised an issue with my bank, spotted 2 payments going out which i am unaware of. Contacted the bank, they've cancelled and refunded the amounts.

Never played Gravity Rush, question is which version to play. PS4 or Vita (both on sale on PSN at the moment)

That seems about right from my memory. The non-character missions are usually symbols.
