Had a good weekend, new bed arrived on Friday at 7:45am (pretty early, but hey i'm not complaining). Had the entire day booked off as they gave the window of "delivery between 8am and 6pm". So that was good. Had it all set-up on by 11am, and as i had the entire day off i decided to surprise Sophie by showing up to her work with a bunch of her favourite flowers. Saturday, she arrived with me to meet my parents. Had a nice chat, then we went and did our own thing before heading out for a meal in the evening at the local. Had a nice evening out, had a few drinks and a nice meal. Sunday, just chilled out for a few hours before she headed home.

If Nintendo offered a reason for me to pay for online, then i would. The current online model, leave it as it is (think of it as Xbox Live Silver). The paid model (Gold) would be the upgrade, so maybe party chat and a few additional features within (perhaps a Miitomo-style mode for interacting with friends when they come online). Also, maybe a library similar to PS Now. Except Nintendo let you download the game for the duration instead of streaming (we know what Nintendo's online is like). And access to the cloud to store saves* Both the free and paid should let you play online regardless. *Of which i do finally hope that Nintendo catch-up and offer cross-buy.

@Aneres11, if it's still not sorted (and even if it is), get onto the ombudsman and lodge a complaint.

Driveclub: Destiny Edition or Destiny to Drive(club)

Can't remember for sure, i know i was looking for a Nintendo Europe site. Did stumble on N64 Europe in it's last days before it became Cube Europe. Lurked most of Cube Europe, signed up and the rest is history.

Updated post. So yeah, what i believed was the mattress that broke turns out to be the bed base itself. Ordered a new one, will be here end of the week..............just in time for when Sophie comes over again. This time, it's slightly stronger (and newer, the base i have at the moment is 5-6 years old) Edit: It also was impossible to say farewell to each other, she left around half 5. Once she left, i did have a tear in my eye. Honestly, i'm believing that she could very well be the one for me. And, here's a nice photo of me and Sophie.

First weekend with Sophie done............, already cost me a few quid as we kind of broke the bed.

Discovered my manager doesn't seem to give a crap about a lot of things. Asked him for an early finish, he said sure go home when you feel like it as it's Friday. I'll take that, i also had it put in writing so the big boss can't do anything when i leave.

Tried one of them Angriest Whoppers from Burger King last night. Was surprisingly delicious.

Just finished watching the Hall of Fame ceremony. Sting's induction speech, had a nod to his TNA days.

Well, it's been going so well dating that Sophie's agreed to staying over mine next weekend. First things first, she's meeting the parents. I haven't been this happy for a few years.

Based on last year, Sunday was the busiest day of the lot. I have heard Thursday/Friday are the better days in terms of doing/seeing what you want to see. Got mine booked up, doing the 4 day trip with a hotel booked up.

Recently played and finished up Super Mario 64 once more on the Virtual Console. It's still a classic, i can't fault it one bit. Finished on 94 stars, might go an mop up this evening.

There was me thinking they were doing ok. Loads of DLC, a great value season pass. And i've not even begun to mention Driveclub Bikes yet, which is a great expansion pack. The sheer amount of support Driveclub had post-launch was unbelievable. Such a brilliant game, i agree with @Cookyman on this point.

Cheers, we're tentatively planning something different next week. We've had a date where she lives (last Saturday), where i live (yesterday). So thinking of Cardiff for the 3rd, however next Saturday has that Six Nations game on so would be trying to avoid Cardiff. I got some ideas for a 3rd date, she's got some ideas. I'm sure we'll sort something out. Edit: She's up for next weekend, we are also meeting up for a coffee tomorrow morning as she's going past mine on her way to work.

Well, the date went very well. She loved the restaurant, she even loved the little present i picked up earlier in the week. I couldn't have gone wrong the whole evening.
