  1. It's probably exactly that, but he's at it again. Following on from his latest project which i dub "Watch me watch my movies", he's taking calls at Liverpool Fact Gallery where you can try to "Touch his Soul" Yeah, honestly
  2. Buy One, get one free deal on the EU PSN.
  3. We've had new phones installed in work. Apparently, they are easier to use. They would be, if they worked. Mine hasn't worked for 3 days now, got no dial tone, can't log in to the group to receive calls or anything. Doesn't phase me too much, last few weeks i (seemingly) was the only person receiving calls, so this break is welcome. Had 3 managers come over today to check if my phone is working, would have thought after the 1st manager whom checked would have told the others, but it seems they don't believe my phone is broke. It's getting annoying now as I've got a case which will take me most of the day to do, but them checking hourly means I can't do anything until they go. Got a 4th person checking now as I write this, wish they'd clear off now. It's annoying me now, wish they'd get the message
  4. The Sparrow racing is a nice little addition, had a few races last night. However, it does need a few more courses as all i was playing on for the most part was the same Venus course over and over. I did get a Mars race in, and cleared the bounty on that. Also, the bounties are bugged as i had 7 races yesterday, only 2 of which my Sparrow was destroyed and yet the bounty for completing races without destroying the Sparrow didn't trigger as "complete"
  5. There is a closed Beta sign-up, click here and follow
  6. It's a great game to appear on a Nintendo console, if they utilise the WiiU Gamepad it will be great. However, it really should have arrived months, if not years ago. It's not going to save the WiiU in terms of major increased sales (and to be fair, are any of us expecting that to occur).
  7. The PS4 controller is my 2nd favorite controller, just behind the Gamecube pad. Comparing the PS4 one to earlier PlayStation controllers, this is a vast improvement over earlier ones. Much more comfortable, and easier to hold for longer periods.
  8. Sparrow racing league, most certainly a nice surprise there from Bungie.
  9. In a way, yes. Just need access to PSOne titles for the PS4 and we are set (i know we can get them via the Vita)
  10. 8 games launching at 8pm Saturday, including Dark Cloud, Rogue Galaxy and the GTA Trilogy http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2015/12/04/8-fan-favourite-ps2-games-launch-on-ps4-tomorrow/ No idea on pricing (some people are not happy with having to pay 3x for a game), but expect news on that later Saturday.
  11. It's @ReZourceman's calling.
  12. ITV confuse Sir Lenny Henry with Ainsley Harriott. As you can guess, twitter exploded with tweets on this
  13. Finished Kung Fu Rabbit on the Vita earlier. It's not too bad, basically it's a platformer-esq game, and you play as a rabbit. Levels get progressively harder as you go through, and once done there is a hard mode which kicks in making the easy levels harder and the hard ones, well you know where i'm coming from. Adding that on my list of completed games this year. Number is now 38 this year, only a fraction to that of @Hero\-of\-Time (well done on the achievement of 100 games)
  14. Yeah, it's quite fascinating how you can squeeze so much into the day. Which brings me to my next question. Do you sleep?
  15. For me, it varies like yourself. Firstly, i do have a full time job. I'm out of the house for anything between 10 and 12 hours a day (7:30am until around 6:30-7pm). As i don't drive into work, i do make the most of the commuting time to work. With this, i either listen to music, play on the Vita/3DS or read a book. I get around 45 minutes (each way, i work in Cardiff) to do this. I do go to the pub and do social activities with friends, in fact that gets priority over many other things (apart from family and work). I'm out every Saturday from 8pm until 2/3am and most Wednesday* nights. And if there are things on like cinema trips, days out etc then i'll happily do these over gaming. Even some of my socialising is done over gaming, i go to gaming events once or twice a month and meet up with some good friends over a game of Smash Brothers/Mario Kart. *Only for 1 or 2 after work. I do watch TV/box-sets and sports. But it does depend on what's on, if it's shows i'm really interested in (Walking Dead, Game of Thrones etc) then i'll give priority to watch the shows. Other times with sports (i'm only interested in the F1 and NBA), it depends on how it's going. With the F1 at the moment being quite predictable, i tend to have that on in the background and do something else like gaming whilst it is on. I'd say on average (on a weekday), i have about 5 hours a night for doing my own thing. Taking off the social aspect and house stuff (and TV), i can get in about 2 or 3 hours about 3 nights a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays). Fridays, days off and weekends (weekends i'm not doing anything), i can get in 6-8 hours. In regards to Hero of Time, he must have one of them things Hermione Granger has in Prisoner of Azkaban. He must live out a normal life, then go back in time to do his gaming.
  16. Ok, what happened?. Only battles i had were vs @Glen\-i, never fought @Ugh first aid. So, unless i've missed something, i don't get how he goes through.
  17. Yeah, just realised that. I set up for a match before @Dcubed set out the rules. What's going on then.
  18. Where do you find your Mii for online play? Edit: Never mind

    Drive Club

Keep at it, it has a steep learing curve. But once you've got that, it's all fun and games afterwards. The bikes has a steeper learning curve.
  20. Should be ok, got an engineer round at the moment and it's fixed. Should be ok. Luckly there is off-screen play, Walking Dead is on at 9pm as well.
  21. Apologies for last night, my internet went off (i use ethernet cables), the PS4 was able to still connect wireless to the router, but the WiiU wasn't able to, something with the range of the WiFi. Apologies again.
  22. Good races none the less, apologies for the random disconnection i had.
  23. I'm hating my WiiU, first it doesn't recognize my pro controller. And now, it just turned itself off.
  24. I'm back this week
  25. I've got some fond memories of Super Smash Brothers, picked up the 1st on the N64 pre-owned on a trip to town. Didn't know what to expect, but found it was something unique. A perfect addition to the multiplayer gaming nights with friends (along with Mario Kart 64 and Goldeneye). I remember the long nights just playing with friends, i always picked Link or Kirby. Picked up Melee like a lot of us did when the Gamecube came out. This game just increased my love of the franchise. More characters, more stages and a lot more fun. I still had gaming nights with friends, but they were a lot less than before. Melee had a lot of improvements in side-activities, which i loved a heck of a lot. Then Brawl, ok a lot of people say Melee is better than Brawl. And in some cases, i'd agree. But in other cases i don't. Yes, this was the first Smash to feature online play, which was a great addition to the game. Ok it wasn't the best online mode, but i liked it. I liked being able to use the Gamecube control pad for this game, wasn't a fan of using the Nunchuck/Wiimote for this game. And then we come to Smash Bros U/3DS. One, or both of these games are a staple of Streetpass events i attend each month. Have at least a few matches each time an event is on, we even try to have regular online matches with the WiiU edition. I don't play Smash as i used to play it these days, but i do try and get a few matches going online to keep my appetite of the game going.
