    • Nintendo eShop new releases (week 09) The ninth week of releases. A selection of new titles are now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Check the article for the full roundup. - - - - - Nintendo have started putting the eShop updates up again on their news page, so last week must have been an anomaly. Highlighted game of the week? Omega 6 and the Triangle Stars...  "From the pen of former Nintendo art director turned manga artist, Takaya Imamura, and developers of the Retro Mystery Club series, Happymeal, comes a 16-bit styled retro-future, adventure, infused with RPG elements: OMEGA 6: The Triangle Stars." Potentially worth checking out? Plus it's discounted at around ten pounds off for a while, then it goes up from £13 to nearly £23... so get it sooner rather than later for that discount... or wait for a sale. See you next week!
    • Wow.  What a kick in the teeth.
    • Crazy just how Eiyuden this game looks visually.  While a gacha game, it was made clear during the presentation that all 108 Stars can be gathered without the gacha system, meaning you won't need to touch MTXs to experience the full story. I imagine the gacha system will relate to recruiting characters from other games/with unique appearances?  Story revolves around the Rune of Change, which if I'm remembering right is only mentioned by name in II.  This will also be adapted as a manga so that those not interested in playing a mobile game can experience the story. I thought that was pretty neat! Being handled by the guy who did III's I believe?  Oh, and they played a couple of tracks from the score for this – the music was gorgeous!
    • Just watched the Suikoden Live Broadcast, which had more details on the release and the first update now that we're just a few days away from launch? Launch trailer:  There's a Remaster Strategy Guide and 108 Stars Guide Book only releasing in Japan, both of which I'll 100% be importing. And a Nendoroid of Tir (main character from the first game) has been announced which I'll also 1000% be getting!  Crazy how much Konami is putting behind this, really seems like they want to revive the franchise and to make it a tentpole. Think they mentioned the pre-orders going far beyond expectations.  Heck, there's even a Critical Role one-shot coming up?!  Suikoden II is also being adapted into an anime AND there will be a stage adaptation of the first game. Konami putting a whole lot behind this.  Worth noting that they also mentioned that the next phase (mobile game/manga, anime, stage adaptation, etc.) is the "second step" to build off the first step that is this remaster package, and they listed third and fourth steps, etc., so it seems like there are plans in the works already for what comes next. Would love a remaster (hell, maybe even a remake?) of III and to have the Suikogaiden titles released internationally for the first time!
    • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is this week's addition to the service.
